The Ashfordly team investigate sinister goings-on at the houses of two very different women in Aidensfield. Could it be the work of a dead legendary servant girl who has come back to haunt her old manor? or is there a much simpler, less supernatural answer to the mystery? Meanwhile, Craddock's wife Penny is organizing a Christmas dancing competition, with Greengrass and David providing the trophy.
