Een verborgen talent
Just before Hein goes on holiday with his father Menno, they receive the message that his grandfather has had an accident and needs care. That's how Hein ends up at the Lommerrust cemetery, where his grandfather is the caretaker. Menno meets his childhood sweetheart Terrence. Hein gets to know her son Jordi, with whom things don't really get along. Then Hein makes a bizarre discovery; he can see ghosts, a gift that he appears to share with his grandfather Johannes. The ghost of Mrs. De Groot asks Hein to free her granddaughter Dewi from the yoke of her strict mother.
Dappere Donnie
Hein is happy to see Dewi back at Lommerrust, but she does have some questions. Menno decides to help Johannes with his work, but gets the fright of his life when a motorcycle gang reports to have one of their members, Ruud de Vorst, buried at Lommerrust. Ruud's ghost reports to Hein. According to him, his death was not an accident but a murder.
Een doodshemd zonder zakken
In an attempt to get Lommerrust financially healthy, Menno decides to map the dead for whom the burial rights have not been paid. This is not to Johannes' liking, but it also disturbs a ghost from a distant past in his grave. Now that Dewi knows Hein's secret, she is allowed to go on a mission for the first time.
Match made in heaven
Hein and Dewi see that Duman cries at the grave of his deceased wife Hanane every day. They are impressed by his loyalty and love, but Hanane's ghost seems to think very differently about it. In the meantime, something of their old love seems to blossom again between Menno and Terrence. But the competing funeral director Steven van Uden also seems to have an eye on Terrence.
Zo vader, zo zoon
When Ferdinand, the regular cake supplier of Lommerrust cemetery, dies, his son Karel has to take over the bakery. It is a great responsibility, especially now that the annual oliebollen test is approaching. Ferdinand has little confidence that Karel will be able to uphold the bakery's honor. He asks Hein to help him. There is also a crisis of confidence going on at Lommerrust. Johannes is going crazy because of his son's interference, while Menno is going crazy because of his father's stubborn attitude.
Soul Sisters
It is busy at the cemetery. Journalists and fans are crowding in front of the fences to catch a glimpse of the funeral of soul legend Joyce Russel. But the only person Joyce really wants at her funeral is not there. In the meantime, Hein himself has a disagreement with his friend Jordi. He does not believe that Hein can really see ghosts.
Siep
When the body of a homeless woman is found, the mayor asks Menno to arrange a funeral. It is a sad affair. Lenie was all alone without friends or company. At least that is how it seems, because she asks Hein to arrange a new home for her many cats. Jordi and Dewi help, but there is one cat, Siep, who is not welcome anywhere. Hein feels sorry for the animal. He knows what it's like when no one cares about you. His father Menno seems more concerned with his career than with Hein's fate.
Een geschenk uit de hemel
The unexpected death of Johannes casts a shadow over the cemetery. Grandpa asks Hein to help him find a successor for the management of the cemetery, so that Johannes can find peace. But Hein has doubts, is he ready to say goodbye to his grandfather? And what if the cemetery falls into the wrong hands? In the meantime, Menno struggles with a major dilemma. His company gets a unique opportunity, but for that he has to leave the people he cares about behind. Will he flee Lommerrust again?
