Hospital Ship - Season 1

Due to its poor condition, the hospital ship is not a preferred workplace by any doctors. However, Hyun, Jae Geol, and Joon Young are appointed to work at the ship. Meanwhile, Eun Jae, who has saved the only successor of Doosung Group, is becoming a more renowned doctor.

Eun Jae's mom is treated at the hospital ship. However, Eun Jae is not happy about it. Her mom goes back home without saying goodbye to Eun Jae and suddenly collapses.

Eun Jae operates on an urgent patient. By pulling off what seemed impossible, she gains trust from everyone on the ship. However, Eun Jae is indifferent and cold to the crew.

Eun Jae insists that she performs surgery instead of making the patient wait. She impresses people once again with her skills. However, her reputation be-comes tarnished when people find out about the malpractice.

The doctors and nurses on the hospital ship fight to save a right arm. Amidst a storm in the helpless ship, Jung Ho gets into an accident. In the isolated ship, Eun Jae decides to perform surgery.

Eun Jae lies and says that the reason why she came on the hospital ship is because she killed one of her patients. However, it turns out that one of her seniors made a mistake mid-surgery and caused the accident. Eun Jae decides to tell the patient's family the truth.

Hyun's father comes to his senses and signs the DNR form. The same day, it is Hyun's birthday, and Eun Jae spends time with him. Meanwhile, the hospital ship welcomes a new guest.

Young Eun refuses to be treated for her leukemia. Soo Kwon invites Eun Jae over to a family gathering in order to show her his appreciation. However, Eun Jae gets a call from the ER soon after.

An elderly woman shows acute symptoms of dementia. The patient reminds Hyun of his father, but he thinks that it may not be the same case for the pa-tient. Meanwhile, he gets a call from the rehab center that his father went missing.

Although she knows, Eun Jae hesitates to tell Hyun about Young Eun. On the other hand, Hyun's mother finds out that Young Eun has been lying to Hyun. Meanwhile, a bloody encounter between two gangs leads to trouble on the hospital ship.

After the surgery, Hyun and Eun Jae realize how precious they are to each other. When Young Eun hears about what happened, she calls Hyun's mother saying she wants to have a word. Later, she meets Eun Jae and says goodbye.

The chairman of Doosung Group, Jang Tae Joon, arrives at Geoje Jeil Hospital. Eun Jae is suspicious of the motives of Chairman Jang, yet everyone else at the hospital thinks it's a good idea so that the hospital can avoid bankruptcy. Meanwhile, the baby transferred from the hospital ship is having respiratory failure.

Eun Jae is under investigation for malpractice regarding the death of Hwang In Kyung's child. Jae Geol finds out that Geoje Jeil Hospital is working with Doosung Group to promote remote medical services. He goes to his father and tells him how dangerous this business is.

The governor has decided to temporarily close the hospital ship until further notice, while Eun Jae receives another set back. The remote medical treatment first flaws appear.
