Hunter x Hunter - Season 1

Gon must fulfill a promis to Mito-san to take the hunter exam, the hunter candidates encounter problems during the sea voyage to the hunter test site.

Gon searches for a ship to take him to Dolle Island; Leorio saves Gon from falling prey to a trickster.

Gon, Kurapika and Leorio arrive at the exam site.

In the first phase of the exam the participants have to follow the first examinert hrough a tunnel. Gon befriends Killua on his run to the exit. 

The participants in the exam emerge from the long tunnel to find themselves in a foggy wetland.

The Gourmet Hunters Menchi and Buhara task the applicants to cook a pork dish for the Second Phase.

Chairman Netero challenges Gon and Killua to a game of skill, which Gon refuses to lose.

The airship arrives at the site of the third phase. To pass this exam, applicants must reach the base of the tower within 72 hours.

Gon faces off against Sedokan and Majtani faces off against Kurapika who reveals a startling and scary secret.

A technicality complicates the end of Majitani and Kurapika's fight; Togari confronts Hisoka.

Leorio bets away all of his team's hours; Killua demonstrates his skills in the next match.

The participants must endure a extended waiting period.

Aunt Mito receives a letter from Gon summarizing his journey so far.

As the fourth phase of the exam begins, participants draw random numbers to determine their targets.

Gon uses the Bloodcrazy Butterflies to track Hisoka; Leorio tries to steal back his own tag.

New partners Kurapika and Leorio encounter Hisoka and try to avoid fighting; Gon uses his fishing skills to steal Hisoka's tag at a crucial moment.

Killua deals with the hunter tailing him; Gon, Leorio and Kurapika team up to take Ponzu's tag.

Gon and his fellow hunters must escape from a cave full of snakes; Netero holds interviews.

Gon and the other participants begin a one-on-one tournament that has a strange scoring system. Gon fights Hanzo in the first match.

Gon passes the Hunter Exam, much to his own astonishment; Gittarackur goes on the warpath.

After Iilumi's actions force Killua to kill, Gon vows to make things right; the group heads toward Kukuroo Mountain to save Killua from his family.

Gon, Kurapika and Leorio arrive at Kukuroo Mountain and are welcomed by its servants and watchdog.

Gon and his friends pass through the gate; a new challenge is encountered and Killua's circumstance is revealed.

While Gon and his friends get closer to the mansion, Killua faces his father.

While Gon waits to finally see his friend, the butler gives him one final test.

Gon writes a letter to Aunt Mito detailing the Hunter exams final phase.

Gon and Killua arrive at Heaven's Area and meet Zushi. Killua thinks that he may have discovered his brothers power type.

Wing explains the four basic principles of Nen to Gon, Killua and Zushi.

Wing's training helps open Gon and Killua's aura nodes so they can pass through the barrier.

Gon learns the nature of Gido's techniques, but still faces a tough fight; Kurapika gets rejected.

After Wing bans Gon from practicing Nen, Sky Arena hosts a revenge match between Hisoka and Kastro.

Kastro's Nen double puts Hisoka at a disadvantage and he ends up loosing both of his arms in the fight.

Gon, now recovered, continues his Nen training; Zushi gets kidnapped; Killlua fights Sadaso.

Gon and Killua fight Riehvelt and Gido; Hisoka praises Gon and offers to fight him.

Gon finally gets his fight with Hisoka.

Gon successfully lands a punch as the match with Hisoka reaches its conclusion.

Gon arrives at Whale Island and receives a box from his father containing three gifts.

Gon listens to his father's message through the cassette tape; Gon and Killua grab some information about the memory card from the item box.

Kurapika learns about Nen from his teacher and then leaves his master Mizuken in order to get a job; He finds himself in an interview for someone who has a lead on the Phantom.

Kurapika and the other applicants fight the assailants in order for them to escape the mansion.

After receiving information from Milluki, Gon and Killua research Greed Island. At the Nostrade Manor, the new employees meet their boss for the first time.

Gon and Killua meet back up with Leorio and continue to try and make some money. The Phantom Troupe moves out.

The Phantom Troupe attacks the underground auction, but their prize eludes them.

Uvogin's actions prompt the mafia to release their secret weapon, the Shadow Beasts.

Kurapika can't capture Uvogin, and he has trouble containing his rage as Uvogin issues demands.

In a random deceased persons apartment, Uvogin drinks beer after beer to get the poison out of his system while Shalnark searches the Hunter's website in an effort to discover where Uvogin was being held prisoner.

Kurapika encounters Uvogin, a member of the Phantom Troupe who eliminated his Kurta clan.

Gon, Killua and Leorio want to buy Greed Island, but first have to raise enough money to make the purchase.

The Phantom Troupe captures Gon and Killua, who are questioned about the chain user that the Troupe seeks.

After being brought to the Phantom Troupe's hideout, Gon and Killua are held captive by Nobunaga.

The auction gets rescheduled; the Mafia think the Phantom Troupe will attack again.

The Troupe mount a massive, powerful attack at the auction, and the Ten Dons' hired assassins struggle to keep up.

Kurapilia is surprised to find out that the leader of the Phantom Troupe has been killed, and wants to get a glimpse of the body.

Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio reunite, and Kurapika informs the others of his nen powers.

Chrollo does some fortune-telling for all the Troupe members, and they begin to suspect Hisoka of betrayal.

Chrollo is able to identify the whereabouts of the chain user by using the info he has on Neon.

The Phantom Troupe discover that Kurapika is responsible for Uvogin's death; Gon and Killua go to the hotels lobby...

Chrollo is captured by Kurapika, who will release him when Gon and Killua are brought to him by Pakunoda.
