Following the huge successes of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM and NEON GENESIS EVANGELION, we focus this time on the latest next-generation, totally new robot TV animation, Lagrange - The Flower of Rin-ne. The broadcasts started in January, 2012. The cartoon is set amid the broad blue seascapes of Kamogawa City in Chiba Prefecture. The heroine is Madoka Kyono, a cheerful and determined senior high school girl. One day, she suddenly encounters a strange but beautiful girl named Lan, who invites her to take a ride in a robot... and her life will never be the same again. The girls battle to defend the people and streets of Kamogawa against space enemies in this youth fantasy. The robots were amazingly designed by car designers of the Nissan Motor Company! More than 60 car designers and modelers submitted works and the winners were used in the animation. It is a stylish, gag-filled cartoon made through cooperation across industrial sectors, a collaboration between Japan's famous animation and car industries! What chemical reaction will this now produce?
