A month after the deaths of Legrand and Inès, a moving tribute was paid to the cabinet. Mathieu receives a gift which takes a tragic turn during an evening between roommates. Adam describes to Leo what he remembers of the events.

A search notice is launched to find a missing prison officer. Maxime discovers more about Richard, the former brother-in-law of Jean-Claude Marquis, who is still missing.

Kim is desperately seeking a defense for his client Jean-Claude Marquis. Maxime suggests that he move forward with the proof that he obtained illegally. Kim hesitates and tensions between them increase.

The police try to find Marleen while Sergeant Johnson investigates. Maxime realizes that he cannot act alone, he needs help to obtain results. Mélodie offers Kim an idea to find new information.

The inmate on the run with the prison officer keeps Detective Sergeant Johnson busy. Lapointe finds himself against Marie-Anne in this cause.

Claude and Max are interested in the good-smelling man who could be the missing piece. Kim must support Jean-Claude who is collapsing in prison.

The trial of Jean-Claude Marquis begins, Max and Kim are in a race against time.

Léo and Me Alain experience a moment of extreme terror at the courthouse. Lapointe, Kim and Sara, worried to death, rush there in the hope of obtaining information from the police forces already present on the scene.

Tension is at its height as the hostage situation at the Palace ends. Max has disturbing revelations about Mélodie. Kim expresses her rather surprising intentions to Maxime.

Jury selection for the trial of Jeffrey Blondin concludes. Dylan's presence is felt. Claude visits Mélodie to talk about his father. Kim and Lapointe meet Me Gagné about their client Florence.
