A Birmingham Celebration with the BBC Symphony Orchestra
A showcase of music and spoken word celebrating Birmingham and the West Midlands. Featuring the BBC Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Principal Guest Conductor Dalia Stasevska, the concert is an emotional and energetic fusion of world-class musicians alongside some of the most exciting vocal talent from the city and area.
From the splendour of Birmingham Symphony Hall, with more than 100 musicians and arrangements and orchestrations by Jules Buckley, this special one-off event explores the city's musical heritage and spirit, alongside an honest telling of the people's love for Brum.
It is introduced by Casey Bailey, alongside a cast of performers including rapper SANITY, poet John Bernard, slam champion Jasmine Gardosi, artist TrueMendous, singer-producer Agaama and Birmingham vocal ensemble Black Voices.
Titled Beyond the Bricks of Brum, the concert is split into three parts:
Create the City is about the creation of Birmingham - its heritage, its people, its architecture and its spirit
Interrogate the City is an exploration of people's love for what is known as England's Second City, told honestly without glossing over its imperfections and showcasing the real Birmingham.
Celebrate the City is a round of applause to Birmingham as an important UK city and the home of the performers.
Recorded in June in the run-up to Birmingham's successful Commonwealth Games.

Worst Cooks in America
Chef Anne Burrell is back for a seventh season of trying to turn some of America's worst cooks into kitchen stars. This time, however, the recruits are seven celebrities who can showcase their talents on TV and in movies, but not no so much in the kitchen. Burrell competes against Worst Cooks in America newcomer Rachael Ray to see which chef can lead one contestant to make the most impressive culinary transformation. Actors Dean Cain, Ellen Cleghorne, Jaleel White and Barry Williams join reality stars Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Chris Soules and Kendra Wilkinson in boot camp. The winning star gets $50,000 for charity and bragging rights for his or her mentor. Not all of the celebrities will make the cut, however; after an opening potluck dinner each mentor selects three recruits to be on her team, leaving one celebrity to be sent home before the competition really begins. Burrell is looking to extend her record to 5-2, while Ray looks to get the win in her first season.
Saint-Pierre
After Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Inspector Donny "Fitz" Fitzpatrick digs too deeply into a local politician's nefarious activity, he is exiled to work in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon (the French Territory nestled in the Atlantic Ocean just off the coast of Newfoundland). Fitz's arrival disrupts the life of Deputy Chief Geneviève "Arch" Archambault, a Parisian transplant who is in Saint-Pierre for her own intriguing reasons. Saint-Pierre is a police procedural with French star Joséphine Jobert as Arch and Canadian star Allan Hawco as Fitz, and James Purefoy rounding out the stellar team. As if by fate, these two seasoned officers — with very different policing skills and approaches — are forced together to solve unique and exciting crimes. Although the islands seem like a quaint tourist destination, the idyllic façade conceals the worst kind of criminal activity which tend to wash up on its beautiful shores. At first at odds and suspicious of each other, Arch and Fitz soon discover that they are better together... a veritable crime-fighting force.
