That involves numerous decisions related to rebuilding survivors' lives and bringing the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant under control) Financial matters also are demanding his attention. The yen continues to trade at historic high levels amid uncertainties over the US and European economies. Paradoxically, the rating of government bonds has been downgraded, and the nation's fiscal condition remains unsettled.
