Of note is that this season of Jeopardy has less than the 230 episodes due to the Corona Virus outbreak. The show had to stop filming early due to travel restrictions.

Alex Trebek the long running host of Jeopardy passed away November 8th 2020 due to Pancreatic Cancer. The show honored his passing by post phoning his final ten episodes that had been taped and ran his top favorite 10 episodes of all time in late December 2020. You can find these by going to the season list then Episode Guide in the upper right of the list. His favorite episodes will show up at the end of a episode summary in Bold type as Alex's favorite.
Starting January 11th 2021 Jeopardy started having a variety of Guest hosts through August 13th 2021 while searching for a new permanent host.

This season of Jeopardy premiered with Mike Richards as Host of Jeopardy, due to complications Richards only filmed 5 episodes as Host before stepping down. Mayim Bialik will Co-Host the Tournaments and Spin-Off Primetime Jeopardy series Sony is going to be producing.

Edmond Dantes, a nineteen-year-old sailor was falsely accused of treason and is imprisoned without trial in the Château d'If, a grim island fortress off Marseille. After many years of captivity he finally escapes and, under the identity of the Count of Monte Cristo, he plans to take revenge on those who have wrongly accused him.
