It's Time to See a Rainbow
JoJo and Gran Gran get caught in the rain at the park. They shelter under the bandstand and JoJo spots a rainbow! JoJo discovers that rainbows are only visible when it's rainy and sunny at the same time.
It's Time to Visit the Art Gallery
JoJo and Gran Gran take the bus to visit the art gallery. JoJo wants to find paintings of pandas, so they join a tour with curator Marie and see lots of different type of art, and experience how abstract art makes them feel.
It's Time to Press a Flower
JoJo and Gran Gran press a flower so that it will last for a long time. JoJo learns that flowers wilt over time, but flower pressing is a special way to make them last longer.
It's Time to Discover Something New
JoJo wants to go somewhere new, so Gran Gran takes her to discover new places in the local community. They visit Jared's shop, the community garden, and the roof of the library, spotting lots of new things along the way.
It's Time to Build a Bug Hotel
JoJo, Gran Gran, and Cynthia build a bug hotel in Cynthia's garden and welcome some new residents. JoJo learns that different insects are attracted to different materials and environments in the bug hotel.
It's Time to Visit the Market
JoJo and Gran Gran visit the market early in the morning to buy some fish. Before they can collect their fish from Navid the fishmonger, they get distracted helping their friends.
It's Time to Open a Cafe
JoJo and Gran Gran visit the park cafe, where JoJo tries the daily special on the menu for the first time. When they get home, they decide to make a play cafe in Gran Gran's garden for JoJo's toys to visit.
It's Time to Fly a Kite
On a windy day, JoJo and Gran Gran take Gran Gran's old kite to fly in the park. After a strong gust of wind, the kite flies away and rips! JoJo makes a design that Gran Gran sews on the kite to repair it.
It's Time to Play Hospitals
When Panda's arm gets a small tear in the park, Gran Gran has a plan to head home and set up a hospital for Panda and JoJo's other toys. After stitching up Panda's arm, they decide to do a medical check-up on the other toys.
It's Time to Run a Marathon
As JoJo, Gran Gran, and 'Team Jared' prepare for the marathon, JoJo begins to worry that she'll be joining Jared on the really long race. Gran Gran lets her know that 'Team Jared' will just be supporting him.
It's Time to Go Swimming
JoJo and Gran Gran go swimming in a lido on a hot summer day. JoJo is excited to show Gran Gran what she has learnt in her recent swimming lessons, but when she loses her goggles, she isn't sure she can jump into the water. After spending more time in the pool with Gran Gran, JoJo learns to jump in without her goggles - making a big splash!
It's Time for a Family Barbecue
JoJo and Gran Gran have a barbecue with their extended family, including Mummy, Daddy, Great-Gran Gran, Auntie Dee, Uncle Tyrell and Cousin Lexi. JoJo and Lexi prepare a dance, but Lexi's portable speaker runs out of battery, so they dance to an old school song on Gran Gran's record player instead.
It's Time for a Boat Ride
JoJo and Gran Gran bump into Ned and Monty as they walk along the canal. Ned invites them onboard to go on a boat ride, where JoJo gets to act as captain - on the lookout for treasure! They go past many locations along the canal, including a park and the zoo, before getting an ice cream! JoJo learns that people can live on boats.
It's Time to Play Basketball
JoJo and Gran Gran run into Jared and Cynthia who are playing basketball. JoJo joins in, but she doesn't feel like she is tall enough to play it well. They make an adapted version of basketball called 'JoJo Ball' instead. JoJo learns you can adapt things to make them easier.
It's Time to Go Pond Dipping
JoJo and Gran Gran visit the wetland centre to go pond dipping with Cynthia. JoJo wants to see a dragonfly. She spots many pond creatures like diving beetles and mayfly nymphs. Just when JoJo thinks she might not see a dragonfly, one appears! JoJo learns that the pond is home to lots of creatures.
It's Time to Meet a New Baby
JoJo & Gran Gran spend the day with Navid and his new baby, Akeel. JoJo tries to play with Akeel, but he only cries or sleeps! Gran Gran shows JoJo a video of when she was a baby and she realises she was just like Akeel too!
It's Time to Visit a Maze
JoJo and Gran Gran visit a maze and see their friends Alfie and Ellie. They race towards the centre of the maze, but JoJo can't seem to figure out how to get there. Instead of rushing through, she learns to take her time and enjoy the journey.
It's Time for an Indoor Picnic
JoJo and Gran Gran are going to the park to have a picnic when it begins to rain. They have an indoor picnic instead and invite Great-Gran Gran, who is also unable to go out because it is raining in Saint Lucia too.
It's Time to Search for Seashells
JoJo and Gran Gran are at the beach and begin looking for different types of shells. They also discover a rock pool, some limpets and a hermit crab. JoJo realises that all the elements at the beach make up an ecosystem.
It's Time to Make Ice Lollies
On a hot summer day, JoJo, Gran Gran and their friends are painting the fence around the community garden. JoJo and Gran Gran decide to buy ice lollies from Jared's shop, only to find he has run out!
It's Time to Celebrate Diwali
JoJo and Gran Gran celebrate Diwali, the festival of light, with their friends Raya and Nirada. It's a very exciting celebration, with lots of yummy food, diyas, music and, of course, lights! Raya teaches JoJo how to make a rangoli. And when Raya doesn't like the loud sounds coming from the fireworks, JoJo has a plan to help her friend!
It's Time to Visit the Aquarium
When JoJo is interested in all the beautiful fish that Gran Gran shows her on the tablet, Gran Gran has a plan. They can visit all the fish and sea creatures at the aquarium! Whilst there, JoJo is amazed by the fish and sea creatures. To top off their fun-filled day out, JoJo meets a special friend of Gran Gran's.
It's Time for a Woodland Walk
When JoJo and Gran Gran find a sycamore tree, they decide to take a woodland walk. Equipped with JoJo's handy Nature Tick Book, they go on a search for all the different trees they can find. When JoJo realises that she's a little bit too small to see the tops of the trees, JoJo and Gran Gran discover there are lots of other ways to figure out which tree is which!
It's Time to See the Planets
Captain Chloe's adventures through space inspire JoJo and Gran Gran, who make a visit to the space centre to learn lots about planets at the planetarium. Then later, back at Gran Gran's house, they have another idea: why not see if any planets are out tonight?
It's Time to Celebrate Creole Day
JoJo and Gran Gran call Great Gran Gran to sing her the new song that JoJo has learnt. While doing so, JoJo discovers it is Jounen Kweyol (Creole Day) in Saint Lucia. JoJo is very interested in learning Creole, so to celebrate Creole Day, Gran Gran teaches her some words. They call Great Gran Gran again, and JoJo performs the new version of the song she has learnt in Creole!
It's Time to Bury a Time Capsule
When JoJo, Gran Gran and the Nature Club dig up a buried time capsule, they find it filled with lots of old items that belong to the old club. Gran Gran has a plan: why don't they reunite the capsule's owners with their possessions? Then JoJo and the Nature Club can bury a new time capsule of their own!
It's Time to Go Beachcombing
When JoJo and Gran Gran visit the beach, JoJo is surprised to find the sea isn't there anymore! Gran Gran explains that the sea is there, but it's just further away as the tide it out, making it the perfect time to go beachcombing. Together, they see what interesting things they can find. JoJo learns all about fossils, as well as the people in the past who helped discover ones that are millions of years old, hidden within the beach. JoJo even finds a few special things of her own!
It's Time to Make a Volcano
JoJo and Gran Gran are enjoying a Captain Chloe adventure in which she travels to see a volcano. Afterwards, Great Gran Gran calls to teach JoJo all about real-life volcanoes, and Gran Gran has a plan. Why don't they make a mini volcano of their own? They get to work building it - and it even erupts!
It's Time to Look for Night-time Animals
JoJo thinks she's seen every animal that visits Cynthia's garden. But Cynthia shows JoJo her new night-time camera, which can take photos of nocturnal animals JoJo has never seen. Gran Gran has a plan to help JoJo discover these night-time animals – they can leave a footprint tracker out overnight outside her house to find out which ones visit them. The next day, they check the tracker. As hoped, there are lots of prints: hedgehogs, foxes and more! Best of all, Cynthia gets some photographs of the night-time animals to share too.
It's Time to Go to Work
When Mummy sets off for work at the hospital, JoJo wants to know what a job is. To explain, Gran Gran takes JoJo to see their friends, who work in all their different jobs. While they're out, they realise Mummy accidentally took Gran Gran's phone to the hospital with her. Now JoJo has a job – visiting Mummy to fix the mix-up and making sure she gets her phone back!
It's Time to Play in the Snow
JoJo, Gran Gran, Ezra and Jaxon are all set for a day of sledging in the snow, but when the sledge breaks, Gran Gran comes up with a plan so that they all can keep having fun in the snow!
It's Time for Pottery
Jared has a special plant which needs a pot, so JoJo makes him one in a pottery class. When the pot is knocked onto the floor and breaks, Gran Gran has a plan. JoJo and Gran Gran glue the pot together and find a way to make it look even better than before. Jared loves his new pot, cracks and all, because JoJo has put so much time and care into making it.
It's Time to Help at the Farm
When JoJo, her cousin Lexi and Gran Gran visit the farm, they see how the animals keep warm in winter. Julie, who works at the farm, shows JoJo and Lexi the llamas. They meet one called Lucy, who sadly can't go outside because she's older and feels the cold more than the younger llamas. Gran Gran has a plan - she can knit Lucy a new neck warmer to keep warm and enjoy being outside too!
It's Time to Remember Grandad
JoJo wants to know more about Grandad, so Gran Gran takes her on an adventure to remember him by doing all his favourite winter activities.
It's Time for a Community Newsletter
Great Gran Gran shows JoJo her St Lucian local newsletter, and JoJo is inspired to make her own community newsletter. They go out and about finding news for it. Cynthia tells them that a mystery guest is turning on the winter market lights, Charlene shares that she has special bunting for sale at the winter market, and Navid tells them about his new food stall. JoJo & Gran Gran get working on making their newsletter. Everyone loves the newsletter, and they are all excited to see the mystery guest turn on the winter market lights.
It's Time to Build a Scarecrow
JoJo and Gran Gran visit the community garden to pull up the winter vegetables. They get some help harvesting the broccoli and cauliflower from their friends Ellie and Alfie, but it's not time to dig up the carrots because they won't be ready until the spring. However, that doesn't stop the birds from trying to eat them! Alfie scares them off, but he won't be able to be there all the time. Gran Gran comes up with a plan – they can make a scarecrow to keep the birds away.
It's Time for a Tea Party
JoJo and Gran Gran discover that Ezra's having a Tyrannosaurus tea party at the museum! But, he doesn't have time to make his special strawberry cake, so JoJo and Gran Gran offer to bake it for him. Their first stop is Jared's shop, but he hasn't had his fruit delivery, so there are no strawberries. However, he does have pineapples in stock. Gran Gran has a plan – they can't make a strawberry cake, but they can make a pineapple upside-down cake. At the tea party, they realise everyone went to Jared's shop for ingredients, and they all used pineapples for the party food. Delicious!
It's Time for Poetry
When JoJo can't find a new Captain Chloe book to read, Terrence suggests that she has a look in a different area of the library – the poetry section. JoJo finds an interesting pirate poetry book and reads it with Gran Gran. Later at the shop, Jared tells JoJo he likes poetry too, but the poetry he writes is a bit different - it's called rap. With Gran Gran on beatbox, Jared performs his own rap. Gran Gran has a plan for her and JoJo to make up their own poem, inspired by what they see out and about in their local community.
It's Time to Find Monty's Ball
When Monty loses his favourite ball, JoJo and Gran Gran decide to help him find it. At first it's tricky to find, but Gran Gran has a plan to look at the world the way Monty does.
It's Time to Make a Sorrel Drink
JoJo and Gran Gran make sorrel drinks together, and JoJo comes up with her own recipe that uses her favourite ingredients, including raspberries and cinnamon. The result is delicious, and JoJo's recipe is added to Gran Gran's recipe book.
