Junior Eurovision is BACK and this year we have changed things up completely!

This year, we're on the road, following the action around the country as hundreds of hopefuls apply for our national auditions in recent weeks where they hope to win the hearts of our judges and be in with a chance to sing in the biggest music competition for young people in the world!

From these hundreds of musicians, ten will be chosen to come to the studio and compete for the big prize - the chance to sing for Ireland in the JUNIOR EUROVISION SONG CONTEST in Madrid, Spain later this year.

The judges hold the power to change the lives of our young hopefuls forever - among the judges are broadcaster Niamh Ní Chróinín, musician, artist and performer Tadhg Griffin winner of the Radical Spirit Award at Dublin Fringe Festival in 2023.

Plus, each week we will be joined by a former legend of Eurovision including 2022's Brooke Scullion, 1993 winner Niamh Kavanagh and queen of the Eurovision Linda Martin!

Over six weeks, we follow the journey of our ten hopefuls until just one singer remains - the brand new Irish entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Conest.

The journey begins on JUNIOR EUROVISION, Sunday 15th  September at 8:30pm on TG4!
