Afsnit 1
Emil agrees to fire his girlfriend Carla following an incident at a catering gig, but it doesn't go according to plan. Later that day, Emil learns that his best friend Viktor and his mother Helle are dating.
Afsnit 2
Emil struggles to find a point of view after Viktor and Helle have become lovers. At the same time, the conflict around Carla escalates when she reports their catering company for harassment.
Afsnit 3
Emil and Viktor are called to a meeting with Carla's trade union, but it does not go as they hope. During an awkward couple's dinner, Emil realizes that Viktor and Helle are working on expanding the family.
Afsnit 4
Viktor hires a ruthless lawyer to clear the company of Carla's accusations. Emil leaves his apartment to Carla and seeks shelter with his mother, who has just moved in with Viktor.
Afsnit 5
From his old children's room, Emil can follow Viktor and Helle's growing relationship crisis. The question is whether Emil should help them find the melody again - or not.
Afsnit 6
Helle turns 50, and family and friends gather to celebrate her. Viktor pressures Emil to give a speech, and Emil finally blurts out the truth about how he feels.

Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
