In the corner of "KAWAII TREND," we highlighted "TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION" and showed some latest trends. In the studio, Yunkoro, a model and charismatic blogger presented the winners of a worldwide fashion contest held on "kawaii.i." Mori-shame or photo techniques to take a self portrait in kawaii style was also performed.
AKIRA, a model known for her boyish fashion, Guri Gura twin gyaru models, an artist and blogger Haruka Kurebayashi, and a fashion model artist Una were guests in the studio.

Featured U Kimura, a Japanese model talented at making handmade items! With her, we gave the "Handmade Fashion Item Contest" and announced the winners. As for the studio guests too, D-I-Y was the concept! Akiko Kaneko, an expert in sparkle deco and Rie Katayama, a specialist of wool deco were with us. We interviewed them to know the secrets to make the items on their own way and also provided the information where to buy the materials.

Super Trendy Shop Assistants in TOKYO!
It is shop assistants who lead the latest trends and are the true fashion icons in Japan. Young girls often come to their shops just to see and talk with them, more than buying the items. Nowadays, some of them became the influential bloggers and even a singer! This time, we had these unique shop assistants from Shibuya and Shinjuku in our studio!!
Up-to-date AKIHABARA × Kawaii
In the episode of #5, we take a look at the Akihabara culture: Manga, Anime, Cosplay and so on, from a fresh point of view. That's Kawaii angle!
Akihabara culture, once known for Otaku or geeks, is recently supported by more and more ordinary girls who love fashion. Such subculture industry has even started to collaborate with trendy fashion brands!
One example, a famous high-fashion designer creates costumes for idols based in Akihabara! A top model for Harajuku-style fashion magazine unbelievably plays cosplay!
We are joined by cute guests who are the specialists for latest Akihabara culture: Nemu Yumemi, a member of "Dempagumi Inc.," hitomi, a top maid of 108 maids in one of the busiest maid cafe, and Julie Watai, a photographer whose photo book have been sold over 1,200,000 copies in Europe for her distinctive style mixing Akihabara and Kawaii culture. The girls definitely will give you a new image of Akihabara, which might be different from what you imagine.
"Hime Makeover" in Special Collaboration with German TV
This time we have a special project for Kawaii International! We're doing a collaboration with the German fashion TV show called "red!" Kawaii International is in charge of a project to transform the red! TV host Hadnet with hime-gyaru style together with Ayano Tokumaru, hime-gyaru charisma shop girl.
And, in response to viewers' requests we've created a new segment called "Tokyo Kawaii Map." This first installment presents Koenji, one of the best Tokyo vintage clothing spots. A program host Misha Janette shares the charms of Koenji, the fashion hot spot that is packed with over 150 vintage clothing shops.
