Best friends Carmen and Niamh, Barnabas and Martin, Liam and Umar together with Leah and Lydia will be spun around in The Mixer and turned into pairs of Frenemies. They'll face incredible challenges, hoping for a place in the final and, if they get this far, they'll be reunited with their best friends to battle it out in the last nail-biting game.
The winners will be rewarded with friendship medallions but the vanquished will be on the last train to Clagsville! Yuck.
Episode 2
Best friends Amelia and Kirsten, Hadya and Sanya, Ben and Sebastian together with Daniel and Oisin are loaded into The Mixer and churned out in new pairs. Will they be able to turn an enemy into a frenemy? It's all to play for in this game show with a twist. Only contestants who make it to the final will be reunited with their best friends to battle it out in the last nail-biting game. Loaded in the giant mixer this time are best friends Samuel and Rhys, Marshall and Jamie, Phoebe and Conor, and Chelsey and Rowan. Forget any thoughts of fancy dress – they'll be full-on, original, movie-standard creations taking inspiration from worlds as varied as manga, superheroes, and wild animals and mythical creatures. Their transformations will be total, even their speaking voices will be disguised in interviews.
It will be up to a superstar panel to lead the viewers at home in their quest to discover who they are. Although the stars aren't judged on their voices, they'll still need to give their best performance – the audience's least favourite will be eliminated, before the panel try to guess their identity and unmask them.
