Season 3
In this third series, Dermot will guide viewers through crimes which shook local communities throughout Britain to their core: Nottingham's ‘Sneinton Strangler', Mark Martin, who killed three women between 2004 and 2005; the horrific murder of Hazel Dix by her previously convicted husband Glyn Dix; the murders by infamous Barking serial killer, Stephen Port, who raped and killed at least four men between 2014 and 2015; the tragic fates of James Attfield & Nahid Almanea, cut down indiscriminately by Britain's youngest ‘want-to-be' serial killer, James Fairweather; and the tragic death of Sana Muhammad, murdered by her abusive ex-husband Ramanodge Unmathallegadoo, using a crossbow in November 2018.
The five-part series will air across one week on Crime+Investigation® with each weeknight highlighting one of these cases which gripped the nation in fear until the killer was brought to justice.

Mark Martin
Crimes that caused shockwaves across the UK, beginning with a look back at the winter of 2004-2005 when 25-year-old Mark Martin murdered three women in Nottingham city centre. Dermot Murnaghan and former Detective Chief Inspector of the Metropolitan Police Clive Driscoll delve into the killings of Katie Baxter, Zoe Pennick and Ellen Frith, piecing together the killings with the help of those that knew the victims and the killer.
Glyn Dix
The case of Glyn Dix, who shot his landlady after consistently failing to pay rent. Dix was sentenced to life in prison but during his sentence he fell in love with a fellow inmate's mother Hazel Griffin and the pair married in 2001 following Dix's release. After a psychotic episode, Hazel's son found Dix crouched over his mother's dismembered body.
James Fairweather
The case of James Fairweather, a 15-year-old boy who viciously stabbed two strangers to death in separate attacks. Fairweather avoided investigation in the first instance after providing an alibi to police detectives. However, he was spotted a year later by a concerned dog walker wearing rubber gloves and carrying a knife.
Ramanodge Unmathallegadoo
The killing of Sana Muhammad, who was murdered by her abusive ex-husband Ramanodge Unmathallegadoo, after six years of stalking and surveilling her movements.
