Chapter One
After Sultan Mehmed, the Conqueror dead Cem and his brother Bayezid II fought for the throne of the Ottoman Empire when was that happening Bayezid's son Selim makes a lot of mistakes and his father didn't know. In a land in Aleppo, there was a boy named Tuman he has been taken from his mom by his uncle Qansuh al-Ghuri to Cairo to start his journey to be a Mamlouk.
Chapter Two
Selim was punished by his father Bayezid for the murder of his cousin Hugos, and returned to his uncle Tuman and began his equestrian training and archery, and a strong quarrel between Selim and his brother Ahmed.
Chapter Three
Tuman Bay apprehends Ibn Merhi and Ibn Merhi says that the Mamluks began to attack and kill his men.
Chapter Four
Selim's mother dies and his wife tries to assault him after his sons are killed. Tuman tries to buy Nilbay, who brought him to Egypt, two years ago, from her refusing owner. Toman discovers a conspiracy to overthrow Qansuh Al-Ghuri
Chapter Five
Selim chokes his wife after trying to kill him, and Selim recommends his son to toughen taxes and kill prisoners to make everyone is afraid.
Chapter Six
Ismail Al Safawi attacks Persia and exterminates its people as he gets closer to Bayazid's kingdom. Ali Pasha warns Bayazid of Selim's modern weaponry and soldiers. Tuman sends Jamal to Aleppo with a letter. Selim announces his deviation from his father Bayazid's rule.
Chapter Seven
Selim rules that a Sultan must never appoint a crown prince. Sultan Qansuh struggles financially and his Mamluks rebel against him. They introduce taxes on the people. Jamal returns to Cairo with his wife, the daughter of an Aleppo merchant. Selim tries to win the Jannisaries loyalty against Bayazid. Al Kamal and his men join forces with Selim with promise to put him on the throne instead of his father.
Chapter Eight
Bayazid considers appointing Selim Sardar of the Ottoman Empire. Selim refuses and requests his father step down from the throne. Bayazid complies and Selim becomes Sultan, killing his brothers, and his nephew Mohammad. Conditions deteriorate in Aleppo with the Mamluk thefts. Sultan Qansuh decided to appoint Tuman Bay Crown Prince.
Chapter Nine
Ibn Kamal returns from Cairo to congratulate Selim on his ascendance to the thrown and reveals Cairo secrets he has learned in his trip. Selim tries to spread lies across the nation as a means to invade the east as an Islamic conqueror. He moves east and exiles his grandfather from the Emirate of Dhul Qadir and kills him. Sultan Qansuh leads a campaign to confront Selim and leaves Tuman Bay in Cairo. Tuman gets stabbed.
Chapter Ten
Tuman rests in agony after the near fatal stab from the mystery woman as Sultan Qansuh reaches Damascus in preparation to meet Selim and his soldiers. Sibay pledges allegiance to Selim against the Mamluks and Selim attempts to trick Sultan Qansuh by sending gifts to him while he prepares to raid his country. The battle of Marj Dabeq takes place and Sultan Qansuh is killed, betrayed by his own soldiers.
Chapter Eleven
Tuman Bay receives news of Sultan Qansuh's death and the loss endured at Marj Dabeq. Selim easily enters Aleppo. Janbardi pins the defeat on Sultan Qansuh and requests to take over the Sultanate. Tuman refuses to take over the Sultanate due to the betrayal and shameful acts of the Mamluks. He succumbs to the people's wishes after they pledge to stand by him. The Jahardiya urge Selim to carry on towards Cairo.
Chapter Twelve
Tuman Bay burns Selim's letter and refuses to surrender. Selim prepares to invade. The Mamluks are more divided than ever and Tuman tries his best to unite the masses. Tuman delivers a speech to the Mamluks and the people of Cairo urging them to persevere. The battle starts and Janbardi betrays Tuman Bay to join forces with Selim, making the battle intensify.
Chapter Thirteen
Sinan Pasha dies and Selim is apparently distraught. Tuman regrets not killing the traitor Janbardi and his misplaced trust in him. Selim appoints Younes Agha as his Vizier and orders him to increase taxes on the Egyptians as he arrives to the Castle.
Chapter Fourteen
Tuman's sister dies in an Ottoman Bombing. Tuman sacrifices himself for the people and urges them to fight against Selim. Jamal refuses to leave Egypt and pushes on resisting. Selim kills Al Kamal and the whole of the Jihardiya. Tuman Bay gets executed.
