Handan Aynurla yuzlesiyor
Thanks to the power of attorney given by Burak Çatalcalı, no one will be able to keep Kuzey away from the company. When she sees Kuzey for the first time in days, the new year begins for Cemre at that moment. Cemre, who clings to her dreams after Kuzey's divorce from Simay, looks forward to the day when her marriage to Barış will end. Cemre feels that this year will be the "year of love" despite all the obstacles that stand in their way.
After saving the Sinaners from the brink of the abyss, Güney is intoxicated with victory. In this process, he does not notice Banu's deteriorating psychology. Banu finds a way to be alone with Cemre and invites Cemre to the boat, and they set sail. When Cemre realizes that they are alone on the boat, they are far from the shore. Banu manages to make Cemre jittery but also giver her an excuse to stay with her mother for a few days.
Kuzey, unaware of everything, goes to Trabzon with Demet to visit Ali's mother, who fell ill. Şeref declares his feelings for Demet to her just before they leave. Demet is weighed down by the revelation. In the house where Ali was born and raised, Kuzey once more feels the deep pain of loss even more as he is mistaken by Ali's aging mother as Ali himself.
On the other hand, Handan visits Aynur and gives her an account of the Sami she has come to know over the years and warns her against marrying him. Aynur is shocked to see the dark side of Sami and ends her relationship with him leaving him distraught. Sami confronts Handan and they both manage to hurt each other. Handan decides to leave Kuzey apologizing in a letter for not being a more protective mother for him.
Neither the success he has achieved in the Company nor the fact that Burak Çatalcalı is the number one suspect in Ferhat's murder will allow Güney to breathe a sigh of relief. When his secret is discovered by Banu, Güney succumbs to the most despicable solution to silence her.
