Late Nite Chef Fight - Season 2
Season 2
Episodes
Skin and Bones
A high-end maestro of Southern comfort food goes up against a Filipino catering firecracker, as a primal battle of the sexes heats up in the Palms parking lot. These chefs must prepare amazing dishes featuring bone-in elk and pigskin out of two tiny food trucks. Without help from their staffs and at the mercy of whatever these trucks have on-hand, will these culinary wizards be able to save their own skin?
Drinks on Me
Old Vegas takes on New Vegas in a good ol' fashioned brawl shaping up in the Palms parking lot tonight as a seasoned Downtown Sous Chef looks to take down a respected Vegas Strip Executive Chef. With no fancy kitchen or any of his staff, can the Executive hold him off? With boozy ingredients like ale and almond liqueur, which will prove they can handle their liquor... and who will be doing the walk of shame?
Trend Setters
It's L.A. vs L.V. tonight in the Palms parking lot, as a self-taught California hustler brings his street sense across the desert to out-cook a classically trained Vegas veteran. Utilizing trendy ingredients like Patty Pan Squash, Bison & Kohlrabi, the chefs take to the trucks to battle it out for West Coast bragging rights. With Vegas' culinary reputation on the line, will Sin City stand tall or will the outsider leave Nevada victorious?
Offal Good
Two elite Las Vegas chefs--one of whom was the loser in the first EVER Late Nite Chef Fight--leave their roomy kitchens and take to the food trucks to prove they can rock every part of the animal. With wild ingredients such as Rocky Mountain oysters, beef brains and chicken hearts, which one will win the judges over by turning these acquired tastes into palatable plates?
Sinfully Delicious
It's a classic tale of East meets West when a Vegas authority on Asian fusion goes up against Sin City's king of Italian cuisine. Tonight the theme is "expensive ingredients" -- will the tiny food truck kitchens do justice to high-end ingredients like caviar and filet mignon? Or will the heat of the competition leave them well-done?
Guilty Pleasures
Two Season 1 Late Nite Chef Fight champions return to defend their titles. Vegas is known for comfort food, so the chefs must make haute cuisine with low-end items like potato chips, canned cheese, doughnuts and bacon. These female kitchen commandos will have to showcase their creativity and adaptability in order to elevate their dishes on the food trucks. Which chef will be able transform their snacks into a high-class meal?
Surf vs. Turf
In a bout of raw talent, Las Vegas' sushi samurai hopes to surf his way to a win against a meat master in Sin City's ultimate underground cooking competition. Chefs are challenged to utilize kombu, parrotfish and rabbit. Without the comfort of their luxurious restaurant kitchens and into the cozy confines of tiny food trucks, can the sushi chef roll with the punches or will the butcher break him down?
High Rollers
It's a special Late Nite Chef Fight, as the two judges leave their chairs and step onto the trucks. Spike Mendelsohn and Casey Lane will be forced to put their money where their mouths are, and utilize high quality ingredients like wagyu beef, black truffle, and rack of lamb in their tiny food trucks, which are definitely NOT on par with their 5-star kitchens. Will the chefs prove they really are money players, or will a surprising twist cause one of them to lose their edge... and their credibility?
