Sam looks for building materials to make a stove, and Curly gives Amanda a gruelling lesson in dropping trees.

Sam tries to build a wind turbine out of scrap metal, and Hans makes a discovery that threatens the town's water supply.
The Devil's Club
The community faces fresh challenges, as Gary goes shrimping, Timbi searches for natural remedies, Curly tries to pull a tree down, and Sam heads into the wilderness to hunt bear.

The Porters prepare their farm for baby goats, but Hans has a shocking chainsaw accident. Amanda tries to extract the engines from her houseboat.

Sam sets out to sea to catch octopus, while pesky vermin have been tunnelling under Mary's home and eating her salmon, venison and cat food!
The End of the End
The community pulls together to rebuild after it is hit by a violent storm, while Mary's poor health forces her to seek outside help.
