Episode 7
Secretary for Justice Fok Ting-bong invites Siu-wang to act as the prosecutor in the Yat-tung case. Siu-wang turns out to be the prosecutor who zeroed in on Yat-tung when Sun-hop was still his pupil. Siu-wang eloquently provoked Yat-tung to hurt himself, causing Sun-hop’s application for bail to fail. Sun-hop’s handling of Yat-tung’s appeal has caused people to turn against him. Even though Mei-la and Ching-mui persuade Sun-hop to abandon the case, Sun-hop insists on getting his way because a witness called Ho Mei-ching negated Yat-tung’s testimony and revealed the truth just before her death. Sun-hop urges Yat-ha to investigate some suspicious individual in the public gallery, who turns out to be Shek Heung-wing. He was another witness in the case. Po-chai arrests Tsang Siu-yau in connection with another case. Siu-yau claims she has clues regarding the Yat-tung case.
