Part 1
On a New Year Visit to the troops in Iraq, one of danish defense minister Henrik Skelbæk PET* bodyguards "talks him down", when things get's a little "to real", and the minister looses his nerve. Later the minister breaks safety protocols, in order to phone his mistress, costing the young bodyguard Ibro Catic his life.
As every year, 20 of the best police academy recruits are admitted to PET's selection process. The dead bodyguards father Drazen Catic, a traumatized Bosnian refugee disappears, going underground, which worries the department heads. Indeed, he's keeping the minister under surveillance.
