After arriving in the town of Omui, the group heads for the Adventurers Guild. Haruka, however, is not a high enough level.
Alone Again
After saving Merielle, Haruka is paid a handsome sum and granted ID which allows him to freely leave town.

Dungeon Expedition
His classmates are adjusting well to their new lives as adventurers, but Haruka still wants to get back to his life alone in the woods.
The Loner & the Dungeon Emperor
The last boss, the Dungeon Emperor, awaits Haruka in the deepest depths of the dungeon.

A massive horde of monsters closes in on town. The only way to stop them is by defeating the last boss of the dungeon.

After getting word about the stampede headed for town, Haruka makes haste in escaping the dungeon.

The catch? They have to work together, with each using their unique skills to solve crimes. For Ellis, that means hard-boiled shoe leather police work; for Max, it means accents, schemes and generally befriending everyone in sight, while driving Ellis absolutely nuts. Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
