Season 1
In ancient times, where gods, goddesses, demons, and mythical creatures live alongside humans, there are 3 mythical kingdoms -- Sheng Nong, Xuan Yuan, and Gao Xing -- that govern a region of the world.
Whilst travelling through the wilderness, Gao Xin princess Jiu Yao experienced all kinds of hardships - losing both her identity and true appearance, she eventually settled in Qing Shui Town, disguised as a man called Wen Xiao Liu and became a doctor. In Qingshui Town, Xiao Yao/Wen Xiao Liu accidentally rescues Tu Shan Jing, the future leader of the Tu Shan Clan, encounters Xiang Liu, a nine-headed demon, and meets her cousin, Xuan Yuan prince Qiang Xuan who had been searching for her in the wilderness.
Life is the encounter and separation, it is the starting time and oblivion, but there are always things that once happened, will leave traces, and there will always be a person who once appeared, will be unforgettable. The fated meeting at Qing Shui Town changed the destiny of everyone...
Season 2
In a world where humans, gods, and demons coexist, three kingdoms—Xi Yan, Chen Rong, and Hao Ling—struggle for dominance. Princess Jiuyou of Hao Ling (known as Xiao Yao) endured a hundred years of suffering, losing her identity and appearance. She settles in Qing Shui as Wen Xiaoliu, with no place to go or support. Her life changes when she saves Tushan Jing, and they develop feelings for each other. Xiaoliu also befriends the nine-headed demon, Xiangliu. Eventually, Xiaoliu encounters Xi Yan, who has been searching for Xiao Yao. After many challenges, her true identity is revealed. Xi Yan sacrifices his love for the throne, Xiangliu dies honorably, and Xiao Yao helps Xi Yan achieve greatness before living a peaceful life with Tushan Jing. Will Xiao Yao's happiness be secured in the peace Xi Yan has created?
