A 10-Year Turning Point
A 10-year case of buyers' remorse has a couple at a turning point. He can't imagine living anywhere else and is counting on Jillian to revamp the kitchen and basement. She is tired of the odd layout, lack of space and long work commute, so Todd is challenged to find a lower-maintenance, appropriate-sized home closer to town.
Functional Family Home
High school sweethearts accepted a generous offer on home they bought from family three years ago, but now they're not so sure it's a fit. While she loves the yard and pool, she hopes Jillian can help make the inside more functional for their family. He isn't a fan of the awkward split-level layout, and hopes Todd can dazzle her with a new, turnkey house with a modern layout.

Ten years ago, a couple made the move from their cramped duplex to a bigger fixer-upper with a yard for their three growing boys. A decade later, he is ready to hang up his tool belt and wants Todd to show them houses with more square footage and better layouts. But she has faith Jillian can convince him to stay with a more open-concept design.
Dysfunctional Design Dilemma
High school sweethearts were initially excited about their 1970s two-level walk-out with a pool and hot tub, but after chipping away at numerous reno projects, he has had enough of the dysfunctional design. She understands his frustration but is convinced Jillian can take their poorly configured rooms and turn them into polished, beautiful spaces.
Functionality with a View
When Linda and Dan visited a charming bed and breakfast with lush gardens and stunning lake views, they could not have predicted it would one day be their home. Linda is now having buyer's remorse after realizing the house lacks functionality from its wonky kitchen layout and small master bedroom closet to its cramped entryway. She's hoping Todd will find her a house with large rooms and a nice flow but Dan is hoping Jillian can fix their current home's layout problems and save his million-dollar view.
