When the opportunity arose to purchase the 1100 square foot home right next to her elderly aunt, Danielle and her husband Richard jumped at the chance. A year after moving in, their son Finn was born, and despite settling in to their new existence as a family of three, this couple wasn't done shaking up the dynamic of their household. They've welcomed an international student who also calls their house, home. Having ballooned from a couple to a party of four Richard, is convinced this little house won't let them grow any more. However, Danielle's not ready to leave all their memories, or her aunt, behind. Strolling into the debate are Designer Hilary and Realtor David, who are ready to face the challenges ahead. Hilary and her team try to re-imagine the home's floor plan with a third bedroom extension, while David scours the area near their neighborhood for a house that has more space for their growing family. Desperate for a home that can support the future of their ever-expanding family, Danielle and Richard will have to decide can they love their home again, or will they list it?
Sibling Rivalry
Life was different 12 years ago when sisters Karine and Daphna first bought this 1600 square foot, suburban townhouse. But less than a year ago, after living separately for several years, their living arrangement changed once again. When artist Deborah and musician Jay bought this 2000 square foot home in an up-and-coming neighborhood, they did so thinking it would bring an end to a decade of moving from place to place. Five years later, the home is just not working for this family of four who works, plays, and goes to school, all under one roof. While Jay may be in love with this house, Deborah is anything but. Making their way into the mix are Designer Hilary and Realtor David, each convinced they could bring an end to the daily dysfunction for Deborah and Jay. Hillary tries to create harmony by completely transforming the function of their home, while David offers a few unique options, including a lifestyle change. Looking for a new way to support their home-based life, Deborah and Jay will have to decide whether can they love their home again, or will they list it?
Line of Sight
Before they purchased this 1800 square foot home in an affluent neighborhood, Trish and Brian owned the house right next door, where they did a massive renovation for a very good reason--Brian has limited hearing and eyesight. When mother nature through them a curve with a new baby, the renovated house no longer fit, and the new house next door has too many walls with too many obstacles for Brian to function safely. Trish has a long list of complaints about their home but Brian thinks their current house can be transformed to a safer place for him. Coming to survey their urgent needs are Designer Hilary and Realtor David, each determined to provide the solution for the plague of problems in this house. Hilary and her team plan to create a safe and functional environment for Brian, while David plans to find an open home that will work for the whole family. Income Property
Eight years after buying a 2200 square foot income property, Becky and Junior's tenants have moved out of the top floors, but they and their two daughters still live in the basement apartment. Becky wants to reclaim the upstairs space to make the whole house their family home, but Junior wants to start fresh in a new house. Designer Hilary and her team plan to bring this family out of the basement, while Realtor David searches for a home that Becky and Junior will both love. Desperate to move out of their cramped quarters, Becky and Junior will have to decide, will they love their home again or will they list it?
Blended Family
Sue and her son used to live alone in this 1100 square foot house. 10 years after squeezing in Bruce and his two grown kids, Bruce is ready to pack his bags, and stretch his legs in a bigger house, but Sue doesn't want to say good-bye to 20 years of memories. Realtor David will try to find a home with more space for this family of five, while Designer Hilary and her team hope to create more space within the tiny home. In the end, Sue and Bruce will have to decide, can they love their home again, or will they list it?
Close-Knit Clan
Pam and Brad were expecting their fourth child when they moved into their 1200 square foot bungalow five years ago. With only three bedrooms, and a deathtrap of an entryway, they need Designer Hilary and Realtor David to squeeze themselves into this cozy predicament. Hilary and her team will try to reconfigure Pam and Brad's home to fit their growing family of 6, while David hopes to deliver a home in the right area with a room for everyone. Sink or Swim
While this 1000 square foot semi made Barb and Pete happy when they purchased it two decades ago, two kids and several swimming practices later, they're ready to jump off the deep end. Designer Hilary and her team try to overhaul Barb and Pete's tiny home, while David searches for a stunning house in the right location. Desperate for a home that can dry up all their woes, Barb and Pete will have to decide, can they love their home again or will they list it?
Emotional Attachment
Rick and Christine need more bedrooms and bathrooms for their blended family of five. Hilary and her team plan to bring function to their home while David searches for a bigger house on the same street.

While Trevor was out of town, Janice bought, what she felt was a fairy tale home, but with storage, space and height issues, this house has Trevor ready to leave behind. Both Designer Hilary and Realtor David hope to solve these homeowners' issues. Desperate to be free of a cramped, crowded home, Janice and Trevor will have to ask themselves if they can love their home again, or should they list it?
