Meet the Matchmakers
Five of the top Black Matchmakers in Atlanta navigate both their complicated clients and complicated friendship with each other. Shae meets with a new client whose sexual freedom presents a challenge. Ming questions if she should continue working with a problematic client. New to the ATL, the Matchmaking Duo has plans to take over the city, but are caught off guard when their old friend and matchmaking rival, Joseph, allegedly steals another one of their business ideas.
The Unscrupulous Matchmaker
Shae's quest to finding her client Ashley love comes with certain sexual challenges. Joseph's new client is hesitant to date Black men after a traumatic viral experience. Wanting to clear the air, the Matchmaking Duo meets up with Joseph, but will the presence of an invited guest cause this love triangle to swipe left?
Sage the Day
Ming works with new client Scott to find love, but when her personal life and business collide, she's left in tears. While Joseph finds love for his client Jessica, Shae asks the Matchmaking Duo for their help in her quest for love. However, the Duo's fear of being burnt puts this request in limbo. Joseph and Shae meet to repair their friendship, but things quickly go up in smoke after Joseph's matchmaking credentials are called into question.
Unappetizing Client
Ming is shocked by her client Scott's disappearing act on his date. The Matchmaking Duo's most challenging client, Gee, takes them to task after a not so appetizing first date. Joseph contemplates his future with Paris, but a frustrated Paris isn't planning on waiting forever. Ming decides to throw a party for her birthday, but when Shae realizes she is not invited, the love quickly goes out the door.
Mixing, Matching and Party Crashing
Ming celebrates her birthday by throwing a lavish party, but one uninvited guest makes a loud entrance. Joseph decides to take his relationship with his girlfriend and business partner, Paris, to the next level, but her dad may derail those plans. With the help of the Matchmaking Duo, Shae prepares for her first date in two years. However, past relationship woes create doubts and Shae's nerves take over.
Tea and Shade
An unconventional mixer has the Matchmakers seeing stars. While Ming predicts easy money with a handsome new client, Shae is hopeful she's found the right match for her sexually adventurous client, Ashley. The Duo throws Shae into the deep end of the pool by having her date two men at once. Joseph and Paris break a sweat trying to keep their love life active. Kelli is caught off guard when long-distance boyfriend Chris presents an ultimatum. Shae and Ming look to resolve their differences over high tea.
Trouble in Paris-dise
Shae proves she loves a challenge by taking on a difficult client, but her biggest test is overcoming her nerves about introducing her new beau at her annual masquerade mixer. Ming meets with a bridal client to create a one-of-a-kind dream gown. Emotions spill over when Kelli shares with Tana about Chris' refusal to move to the ATL. Real Black Love comes to a screeching halt when Joseph and Paris collide over mixing business with pleasure.
Uno or Duo
The Matchmakers are brought up to speed on Joseph and Paris's explosive fight. Shae receives shocking feedback on her client Shanta's date, which causes her to question should she keep working with her. The Duo prepare for the launch of their university but are at odds of their future as a team after Chris's shocking ultimatum. Ming's professional dreams are all coming true, but will it be at the expense of her marriage? When all of the Matchmakers are invited to celebrate the launch of the Duo's school, a big surprise steals the spotlight.
