Historical Re-Enactment
Mark McKinney joins his hobbyist host, Aurora, and travels to Ontario's Kawarthas to spend two days living as a 14th century knight. With pavilions and tents pitched in the middle of a field, Mark will dress, eat, live, and sleep in a wholly medieval world – where he will also help with cooking, try his hand at archery, learn longsword techniques, take in a duel between two knights, and, ultimately, perform a bespoke "medieval stand up comedy set" as his offering to the May Queen who presides over the weekend events.
