MOTD Live: UEFA Euro 2024 - Denmark v England

Coverage of the Group C match from Frankfurt Arena, as the two sides meet for the first time since their semi-final battle at Euro 2020. The Three Lions beat their Scandinavian counterparts 2-1 after extra-time thanks to Harry Kane's deciding penalty, which took Gareth Southgate's team to their first major final since 1966. England made it through to their fourth consecutive European Championship finals earlier on this year, as they finished top of their qualifying group ahead of the likes of Italy and Ukraine, winning six and drawing two of their eight matches. Denmark also ended up top of their qualifying group, winning seven of their 10 matches, as they aim to win this competition for the first time since 1992. They'll be looking to the experience of Christian Eriksen, who has recovered since suffering a cardiac arrest at this event three years ago when Denmark played Finland in a group match. This will be the fourth meeting between the nations since Southgate replaced Roy Hodgson as England manager, and honours are even, with a win apiece and a draw in those three fixtures. Gary Lineker presents, with commentary by Guy Mowbray and Alan Shearer.
