Coverage of the final, which comes from Olympiastadion in Berlin, where England are aiming to win the tournament for the first time. Somewhat surprisingly, this is the first meeting between the two at a major finals since Euro 96, when England progressed via a penalty shootout after a goalless draw at Wembley Stadium. Wembley was also the venue in 2021, when Gareth Southgate's men were on the wrong end of their final shootout against Italy, but they now have the chance to become the first England men's senior team to win a major tournament on foreign soil. Spain have undoubtedly been the best team in the competition so far, and have seen off Germany and France in their last two matches to reach this stage, and victory here would see them become the most successful nation in European Championship history.
