A new investigator Valery appears in the department - a fellow student and ex-lover of Vika. Valery and Sokolovsky go to the hospital, where they brought the owner of a private transport company. The case is not as simple as it seems at first glance. The methods of work of Major and Valery are very different. A wounded girl, screaming for help, runs out of the car, followed by a taxi driver. The girl cannot be saved.
