In the first episode, Sophie's feeling the pressure. Tyron warns her about her performance, as she battles with rival agent Alex to sell a £5million family home in Surrey, decked out with a private cinema and pool, and an outrageous £7million warehouse conversion in south London.
Episode 2
The company is due to hold its quarterly awards, where the best agents are lauded for their performance - and competition is fierce as they compete for the top spot. Leading agent Quas is hoping to win with the sale of a £7million London penthouse, while main rival Alex is just days away from exchanging on a stunning family home with gym, billiard room and outsized bar in Northampton. Meanwhile, Sophie is struggling, meaning she may be in for a public shaming at the awards, while new employee Erin starts to make an impact at the agency.
Episode 3
Tyron wants a slice of the lucrative property market in Cheshire, so he asks Brett to relocate to Manchester to head up his new operation. However, the agent's partner Connie is against the move, so he tries to persuade her with a trial trip up North. Back in London, Sophie's position at the agency looks more precarious than ever, while new agent Andrew, from the Philippines, starts to make an impact in the company.

But when Max gets arrested and ends up helping Ellis solve a local crime, the two are offered the opportunity to redeem themselves, with Ellis going back to detective and Max staying out of jail. The catch? They have to work together, with each using their unique skills to solve crimes. For Ellis, that means hard-boiled shoe leather police work; for Max, it means accents, schemes and generally befriending everyone in sight, while driving Ellis absolutely nuts. Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
