In Hollywood, Martyn is thrown into a panic when he hears of a potential issue with Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne's new apartment. Meanwhile, Jeffrey is working on a new Malibu restaurant with his boyfriend/business partner Ross; and Kathryn invites all of the designers to her birthday party, and in her usual style shows up fashionably late.
Playgrounds for the Rich
After years of working on a lavish $20 million estate in La Jolla, Jeffrey gets caught off-guard when his client shows up unannounced before the furniture is installed. Mary must convince her Beverly Hills client to trust her with the budget and vision for her guesthouse. In Laguna Beach, Nathan must liaise between his longtime client and her design-challenged contractor. Meanwhile, Martyn sees a hypnotist to overcome his addiction to chocolate.
Life Is a Beach
Martyn's dealt with his share of difficult clients, but when he travels to Mexico to meet Joe Francis he's told he must train the new staff on how to maintain the estate. Meanwhile, Mary decides to have an artist sketch her portrait for her first book; and there's drama when Jeffrey puts his assistant in charge of the local gym's remodel.

Martyn flies to New York to install special display boxes of Jimmy Choo shoes in a $30 million penthouse apartment. Meanwhile, Jeffrey surprises Ross with a swanky birthday party.
Designed for Disaster
Kathryn must get Shannon Factor's Malibu house back on track after a bout of drama surrounding permits; and Martyn channels some "Cuban soul" into Daisy Fuentes' home. Meanwhile, Jeffrey takes offense when Ross insists his design scheme for the Malibu restaurant is incomplete, and the bickering continues outside the office. Later, the designers all come out to support Nathan's Indian-themed party, launching the sale of new items he recently purchased in India.
London Is Calling
Martyn jets off to London to shop for an online site curated by famous interior decorators, but as it turns out, finding items at a reasonable price is harder than he expected. Kathryn also heads to London to help her ex-boyfriend furnish his country estate, but working with an ex proves nearly impossible for their two stubborn personalities. Meanwhile in Malibu, Jeffrey rips out the restaurant's floors without checking budget and faces a harsh reality when his client won't increase his funds.
The Suite Life
Jeffrey and Ross attend the San Francisco Fall Antique Show and wind up shopping as much for themselves as they do for their clients. In Palm Springs, Martyn and Kathryn are at the Colony Palms Hotel, and as he scrambles to complete the hotel's presidential suite, she lounges by the pool basking in the sunshine. Meanwhile, close friends Mary and Nathan fly to North Carolina for the High Point Furniture Market. At the expo, Mary showcases a lamp line she designed, and Nathan crosses hurdles to reinforce his relationship with Bloomingdales, who carries his furniture line.
Installment Insanity
Sharon Osbourne presents Martyn with The Andrew Martin 2010 International Interior Designer of the Year Award, one of the top honors in the design world. Jeffrey and Ross run into a scheduling mishap that threatens to derail the completion of the Malibu restaurant they're designing. Meanwhile, Mary tackles the design of the grand entryway to the L.A.
