Timor. September 6, 1975. Indonesian troops launch their first attacks on the territory of Timor. Everywhere skirmishes are repeated between the invaders and the Fretilin guerrillas. The dead and wounded crowd. A white nurse is injured and almost dies while trying to save a guerrilla. It's Tiago. In 2016, the Ministério do Tempo is preparing for one of its most difficult missions ever: an external audit. In 1975, Tiago is in a field hospital. He's hurt. Around him, companions and friends are dying. Back in 2016, Afonso is on his way home when he comes across a demonstration. When he looks at the leader of the protests, he has the shock of he's life: the woman who engages the megaphone is look-a-like to his wife, Elena, whom he was forced to abandon in the 16th century. In Timor, Tiago begins to recover from injuries. He can already perform his duties as a nurse. But the situation his group of guerrillas lives is increasingly desperate. Filled with regrets, Tiago tries to call Amélia ... who does not answer because she is having dinner with Pacino. The next day, Amélia sees the missed call. When she calls back, she receives a strange warning: "The number you called is out of national territory." Intrigued, Amélia tells what is happening to Irene. Salvador summons Afonso and reveals to him that Irene has been able to locate Tiago. He's in Timor, in full Indonesian invasion. Afonso receives the mission to go save his friend. Amélia feels vulnerable and abandoned. She ends up leaning on Pacino. The latter, being very attracted to the young woman, doesn't resist to kiss her. Amélia corresponds. In 1975, Afonso manages to persuade Tiago to return ... That is, if they can get out of Timor alive.

It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
