Calista finds herself getting pulled back in by Luca, but just as she lets her guard down it's clear that Luca has ulterior motives.

Threesomes
Scott asks Joss to return his ring to him, and she discovers that he's engaged again. Meanwhile, April's excited that Blair's accepted a date with her; Karen faces the consequences of her encounter with Vivian and Alec; and Calista meets the other gals.

The Best Laid Plans
Harry deals with the consequences after sleeping with Niko and learning she is his boss' mistress, but it surprisingly leads to a new exciting venture in his career. Karen reaches uncharted territory in her new relationship while Vivian is out of town. April struggles to overcome issues from the past when her mother, Marjorie, comes to visit. Joss and Calista plot a takedown of Luca, ultimately ending with Joss in way over her head.

Murder She Wrote
Karen's relationship begins to fall apart when Vivian discovers she slept with Alec and they both lied about it. Meanwhile, April's connection with Blair deepens, but Lucy begins to see a very strict side of him. After a series of blows to his self-esteem, Marc battles his demons, and Calista throws Joss under the bus with the police, causing her to become the prime suspect.

Unreliable Witness
Feeling under the weather, Karen heads to the doctor and is stunned when she gets the results. April and Blair move their relationship forward, even though Lucy admits that she's not fond of him. Marc continues to struggle with his old demons, but Harry is there to help him get back on track. Joss scrambles for evidence against Calista and when Calista twists the story to her benefit, the future looks very grim for Joss.

What Could Have Been
Karen makes a life-changing decision. Joss considers what her life could have been if she'd chosen Scott instead of Harry. Upset that he can't visit Joss in jail, Harry focuses his energy into helping his agent Ari instead. April sleeps with Daniel while Blair is out of town, and Daniel has a mysterious tape that might help Joss.

Guilt by Association
April's guilt about Daniel leads to trouble in her relationship with Blair which ultimately brings her closer to Lucy. Karen tells Alec and Vivian about the baby and despite Alec's initial shock there seems to be some hope that they can form a modern kind of family, until Vivian staggers Karen with the news of her own. Daniel's mysterious tape turns out to be surveillance from the neighbor's camera which proves to complicate matters for Calista. Just when things are looking up for Joss, she's stunned to learn that the cops think she and Calista conspired to kill Luca together.

Reasonable Doubt
Despondent over her situation, Joss struggles with whether she should take a plea deal and what that would mean for a future with Harry. Karen agrees to help Vivian keep her secret from Alec so that he can accept a very important award. April and Marc are blind-sided by a surprise visit from Marc's sister Miranda. After being shut out by Joss in prison, Calista sees the pain she's causing her and makes her next move.

Goodbye Girl
Just as Joss gets her freedom, Harry is presented with an exciting new job opportunity that will impact a future with her. As soon as Scotty leaves Los Angeles, Marc disappears, causing April to finally realize her true feelings. Vivian's illness takes a turn for the worse, leaving Karen adrift and unsure of the future. Joss receives a confusing gift from Calista but when she denies sending it, Joss is sent down the rabbit hole to find out if the real killer might be on the loose.
