Giving moral support to a crippled cowboy friend. Campbell helps free an innocent murder defendant, even though he himself is jailed for refusing to reveal his news source in the case. His source is a scared woman, an ex-convict who on a confidential basis gives him information that could clear the murder defendant.
The Pawn
Peter becomes embroiled in two news breaking events, both tragic: the theft of a newborn baby and the death of an old friend.He turns criminal investigator when fellow TV reporter is shot.
