Morning Live - Season 1

Season 1

A brand new daily, topical live series BBC One's Morning Live launches on BBC Daytime this autumn designed to kick-start the day and reflect the mood of the nation.

Hosted by Kym Marsh and Gethin Jones, the new morning programme will put audiences at the heart of the conversation, with great company and expert advice from a team of presenters who will guide viewers through the mornings up until Christmas.

Each day the hosts Kym Marsh (Your Money And Your Life) and Gethin Jones (The One Show) will be joined by a familiar face from the BBC Daytime and Early Peak presenting family including Dr Xand van Tulleken (HealthCheck UK Live), Rav Wilding (Crimewatch Roadshow), Anna Haugh (Ready Steady Cook), Will Kirk (The Repair Shop) and Sabrina Grant (BBC Two's forthcoming new afternoon format Saved and Remade - w/t). All come with a wealth of expertise, which will be reflected in that day's show.

The programme will be a lively and entertaining mix of topical content and expert advice. It will air after BBC Breakfast at 9:15am on BBC One and is perfectly placed to reflect and respond to viewers concerns at the start of the day, with The One Show closing the day on BBC One in the evening.

The mix of content aims to both entertain and inform viewers, providing great company and the kind of trusted expertise viewers have come to expect from BBC Daytime's popular factual and flagship series in the 09.15am slot. It joins favourites in the schedule such as Crimewatch Roadshow Live and Rip Off Britain and most recently HealthCheck UK Live, Your Money And Your Life and For Love Or Money.

Before they were brand names, they were brilliant, sometimes ruthless, visionaries who revolutionized food and changed the landscape of America forever. This miniseries event will tell the fascinating stories of the people behind the food that built America – those who used brains, muscle, blood, sweat and tears to get to America's heart through its stomach, and along the way built cities, invented new technologies and helped win wars.
