Michael Jackson was a great singer, but also a superb dancer. What does it take to be that good?
To find out and to celebrate the greatest dancer in the history of pop, a contest is being held to find the best sixteen dance acts who will battle it out to perform at Jackson's memorial event, to be hosted by his brother Jermaine.
The nationwide auditions come first, where Lavelle Smith Jnr, Jackson's choreographer for over twenty years, and casting agent Mark Summers select the best for a place in the studio semi-finals, where judges Jamelia and Jermaine Jackson himself await.

Auditions 2
The dance contest that celebrates the greatest performer in the history of pop continues. The auditions are in full flow as Jackson's former choreographer Lavelle Smith Jnr and casting agent Mark Summers scour the UK for the best dancers.

Semi-Final
In the first semi-final, eight acts are drawn against each other in a series of dance battles. From crews to solo dancers, mistakes mean instant elimination and the pressure is intense as they are dancing for just two places in the live final.
Deciding who makes it through are the judges - Jamelia, dance casting agent Mark Summers and Michael Jackson's brother Jermaine. At stake for the ultimate winner is a once-in-a-lifetime prize - dancing at Michael Jackson's memorial event in 2010.

Semi-Final 2
In the second semi-final, another eight acts are drawn against each other in a series of dance battles. From crews to solo dancers, mistakes mean instant elimination and the pressure is intense as they are dancing for just two places in the live final.

Final
Four dance acts have made it through, all desperate to win the prize of dancing at Michael Jackson's memorial event hosted by his brother, Jermaine, who is also on the judging panel along with Jamelia, and dance casting agent Mark Summers.
They will choose the final two and, after a final freestyle dance off, it will be up to the viewers to vote for the winner.
