Bill and Roland convince Holly to visit Lou and provide moral support as Lou's competency exam approaches. Jerome learns an interesting fact about one of Rothstein's former girlfriends, and Danielle learns about Morris cheating on her with Alma.
Trial and Terror
As Lou's case goes to trial, Lou further loses her grip on sanity. Jerome looks for the John Doe patient, while Bill and Holly worry that Lou isn't looking good. Morris wonders where Danielle went, and he and Alma move in on the Saubers.

Sarah calls Bill to the stand before Roland can, and Holly worries that her testimony won't help Lou. Alma approaches Marjorie to find the missing money, while Morris approaches Bill and Holly.
Bad to Worse
Holly and Lou testify in court, while Morris' plan to frighten Peter doesn't go as planned. Alma gets closer to Marjorie, and Bill breaks down after a call from his daughter.
