Elliot Alderson is a young cyber-security engineer at Allsafe Cybersecurity in New York City; However, in his free time he's a vigilante hacker. He is recruited by fsociety, a group of black hat hackers led by Mr. Robot, to help take down a large corporate conglomerate, E Corp. E Corp is Allsafe's biggest client as well as responsible for the death of Elliot's father, putting him in a place of divided loyalties.

ROBOT follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), a young cyber-security engineer who becomes involved in the underground hacker group fsociety, after being recruited by their mysterious leader (Christian Slater). Following the events of fsociety's 5/9 hack on multi-national company Evil Corp, the second season will explore the consequences of that attack as well as the illusion of control.

ROBOT stars Golden Globe Award and SAG® Award Nominee Malek ("The Pacific"), Golden Globe Award Winner Slater ("Nymphomaniac"), Portia Doubleday ("Her"), Carly Chaikin ("Suburgatory"), Martin Wallström ("Simple Simon"), Grace Gummer ("Extant"), Michael Cristofer ("Ray Donovan") and Stephanie Corneliussen ("Legends of Tomorrow").

New recurring guest stars include Craig Robinson ("The Office"), hip hop artist Joey Bada$$, Sandrine Holt ("Fear The Walking Dead"), Michael Maize ("National Treasure: Book of Secrets"), Dorothi Fox ("Run All Night") and Luke Robertson ("The Americans"). Burrell competes against Worst Cooks in America newcomer Rachael Ray to see which chef can lead one contestant to make the most impressive culinary transformation. Actors Dean Cain, Ellen Cleghorne, Jaleel White and Barry Williams join reality stars Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Chris Soules and Kendra Wilkinson in boot camp. The winning star gets $50,000 for charity and bragging rights for his or her mentor. Not all of the celebrities will make the cut, however; after an opening potluck dinner each mentor selects three recruits to be on her team, leaving one celebrity to be sent home before the competition really begins. Burrell is looking to extend her record to 5-2, while Ray looks to get the win in her first season.
