Old Habits Die Hard
Jessica arrives at a convent to visit an old college friend who is now a nun. While enjoying their visit, the pair soon gets caught up in a murder investigation when a fellow nun, who is the convent's unofficial record keeper is found dead of an apparent suicide. At her friend's urging, Jessica promises to get to the bottom of what happens and soon discovers that her death is connected to a young woman who sought refuge at the convent years ago, her dying father, and the city's mayor and his wife.
The Way to Dusty Death
When Jessica and several other members of a company board are invited to the chairman's country estate, everyone is considered a suspect when their host is found murdered. When the police discover that everyone only arrived to find out who will the victim planned on naming the next chairman, only to be betrayed by him, they turn to Jessica for help in trying to find out which jilted board member wanted power bad enough to kill for it.

Jessica Fletcher's cousin Emma, a dance-hall performer who bears a strong resemblance to the crime-writer herself, is forced to investigate the murder of a wealthy friend.

In order to solve the murder of the wife of one of Cabot Cove's deputies, Jessica and Sheriff Tupper get drawn into beauty shop gossip. Through the course of their investigation, they get a big surprise when they discover the deputy has been having secret liaisons with several single women in town.

In Los Angeles to promote her new novel, Jessica learns her latest mystery has been appropriated by an unscrupulous Hollywood producer.
Trouble in Eden
After being notified of her sister's death, a friend of Jessica's gets hit by a car, and almost loses her life. Fearing that both events are connected, Jessica takes it upon herself to travel to the small town in Oregon, where Charlotte had a thriving hotel called "Garden of Eden" while posing as her grieving sister. Upon her arrival she sees that things aren't what they appear, especially after Charlotte was swiftly cremated and several people wanted to take control of the hotel, including the less than honorable sheriff and town doctor.
Indian Giver
When an Algonquin Indian named George Longbow crashes a town party, he hands Mayor Booth a land grant that claims he and his people own the land that Cabot Cove was founded on. Suspecting that Mr. Longbow's claims are false, the town leaders turn to the local expert on Indian History for insight. However, when the professor confirms his claims, several business owners fear an impending development project will no longer be able to proceed as plan. At this point, when the leader of the project is found murdered with a spear in his chest, Jessica has to prove George is innocent in the crime.
Doom with a View
While staying in an opulent hotel courtesy of Grady's fraternity brother Gary, Jessica becomes embroiled in a fight to clear Grady of a woman's murder that is tied to Gary's past.

When Amos's sister Winnie abruptly arrives in Cabot Cove with the news that she left her domineering husband, Amos, Seth, and Jessica have their hands full when they arrive in town looking to bring Winnie home. Things get tricky when Jessica hosts Amos, Winnie, and their in-laws for dinner one night and Winnie's husband ends up murdered. When it looks like Winnie is the prime suspect, Jessica has to figure out who the true culprit is.

Following the death of an eccentric recluse of Cabot Cove, Jessica is appointed as executor of the woman's estate. As she begins the daunting task of cataloging the contents of her home, Jessica gets roped into helping Sheriff Tupper in the investigation of the murder of the local unscrupulous antiques dealer who was found dead inside the woman's house. They soon discover that an old legend of Benedict Arnold spending time inside the old house may have played a part in the man's death.
Just Another Fish Story
At her nephew's suggestion, Jessica invests in Alice's Farm, a trendy New York restaurant, but when one of the owners is found dead in a freezer, Jessica uncovers a crime network behind the operation.

Jessica is called to the Showdown Rodeo in Saskatchewan to visit her niece who is doing the rodeo circuit, but a mysterious fire at the local hospital leaves the rodeo physician dead and Jessica finds herself involved in a murder investigation.
