My Big Redneck Vacation - Season 1
Season 1
Episodes
I Like to Move it Move it
Meet the Clampets! From the moment this All-American, countrified family rolls into the Hamptons in New York from Shreveport, La., they make their presence known immediately. It's the ultimate culture collision as the yokels mix it up with the locals. Even shopping for food is like an expedition in a foreign land. This rowdy bunch is going to show the international jet set vacation destination of the world a good ol' time full of laughs, zany antics and plenty of heart as the North and South become neighbors and really get to know each other.
Too Legit to Etiquette
After a "casual" meal in the Hamptons, the family realizes they aren't in Louisiana anymore. They decide to go all out and book a limo to take them to a winery for some wine tasting and a five-star dinner. But first the girls think it's a good idea for some etiquette classes. The guys, who are an etiquette nightmare, are less than thrilled when they return from golfing (Clampet style) to see the ladies have prepared a dinner to put them to the test. The ladies also force their men to go shopping for appropriate fine dining clothes. The big night turns into a wild five-star debacle.
There Goes the Neighborhood
The family decides they want to throw a party to meet their neighbors and show the locals a little Southern hospitality. The guys go on a rocky fishing adventure to catch food for the party but run out of gas as Tommy gets seasick. Meanwhile the girls deliver invitations to the neighborhood and shop for "Hamptons" food. The Clampet clan shows the 'hood how they get'er done when it comes to cookin' coon, shooting bows and arrows and riding four wheelers. The Hamptons will never be the same again.
Come On Irene
The family's dream vacation is interrupted when Hurricane Irene blows through the Hamptons. Faced with a big decision, the family remembers the seriousness of Katrina and reckons they can ride out Irene. Boarding up the house, stocking up on beer ... er ... hurricane supplies ... and hunkering down has never been so much fun. And, in the aftermath of what was described as a "historic hurricane," the family turns their lush backyard into their very own mud hole. When the neighbors arrive, it's only a matter of mud before these Northern neighbors are converted to the Clampets' Southern ways.
Hans Polo
Jared and Doug go on a beer run but stumble upon local polo pros practicing the Hamptons' favorite sporting past time -- aka polo -- and decide it's time for the family to mount up for some lessons. They get their game faces on to demolish anyone who stands in the way of their Southern competitiveness. It's North verus South in a sport of kings grudge match.
The Clampets Take Manhattan
Jared and Michelle must take a little road trip to meet wedding cake maker to the stars Sylvia Weinstock in New York City. The family decides to join them and loads up the RV for a trip to the Big Apple. They take in the sights, and their eyes are opened to a whole new world of busy streets and bright lights. The family takes a double-decker bus through the city, makes a visit to Lady Liberty and Times Square, a romantic boat ride for Tommy and Tammy, and even an off, off, off Broadway burlesque show. This episode is loaded with loud, quirky fun as the Clampets take Manhattan.
Clip Show
Tom Arnold takes viewers on a look back through their favorite episodes where hilarious never before seen footage will be revealed. Bloopers, fun facts, deleted and extended scenes are sure to bring in the laughs as we pull back the curtain on everyone's favorite redneck family. Viewers will also be given a sneak peek at the remaining episodes to tease the rest of the season.
Health Ledger
The girls get motivated to adopt the Hamptons healthy living lifestyle in an effort to shape up for the up-coming wedding. They seem to lose their minds as they attempt to drag their men to yoga, tennis, and tea parties. But when a guru stops by, the guys decide to take matters into their own hands to win their women folk back with a redneck baptism.
Clampets Go Wild
Visiting family members from Louisiana arrive for Jared and Michelle's upcoming wedding, which is only days away. But these visitors are in for a surprise when they see how much their kin have changed as they're introduced to some of the finer things the family experienced during their summer vacation in the Hamptons. In true Clampet fashion, everyone knows how to get wild when the guys' bachelor party starts with a shark dive while the girls' bachelorette party takes to the bay in their own redneck booze cruise. It's time to get loud and make some trouble!
Beerly Beloved
It's the big day we've all been waiting for -- Michelle and Jared's wedding. Everyone's here, from family visiting from back home, to just about everyone we've met throughout the summer. Anticipation builds, tears are shed and mud will be worn by all, as Jared and Michelle tie the knot in a country-themed Hamptons wedding. That's only half the fun. The post-wedding reception is a genuine redneck party in the luxurious but conservative Hamptons.
Going Back to Shreveport
It's been an amazing summer full of fun and great memories, but now it's time to pack up the RV and head back to Louisiana. But first the family must get to fixin' the damages they've done during their stay to avoid having to pay a hefty damage fee. While the guys have to repair the mud pit they made in the backyard, the neighbors have planned a surprise going away party. It's a tearful goodbye from the Hamptons and a heartfelt welcome back to Louisiana for the Clampets.
