It's the early 90s. Molly has just finished ninth grade and started working as a stable girl at Heddesta Ridcenter outside Gothenburg. At first she thinks she has arrived in paradise, but soon she notices that not all is well at the riding school.

When riding instructor Tommy makes sexual advances on one of Molly's riding students, Molly decides to leave Heddesta. But should she report Tommy to the police, or just try to put it all behind her?

The year is 1991 when Tommy is arrested for sexually assaulting Molly and three other stable girls. Molly's best friend Frida still lives at Heddesta, and is pressured by Tommy to testify on his behalf. It' s word against word in the trial.

The trial against Tommy continues and a new witness will determine the outcome. Two years later, Molly is in high school and has put Heddesta behind her. Suddenly she gets a call from a journalist who is planning to make a documentary about Tommy's case.
Avsnitt 5
The documentary about Tommy's case has disastrous consequences for Molly. Tommy gets out of prison and Lotta hopes he has learned a lesson. But has he really changed? Twelve years later, Victoria files a police report against her own father.

It's Victoria's 18th birthday and Tommy asks her out to a restaurant, only to give her an unpleasant surprise. Victoria leaves home and her younger sister Agnes runs away. Tommy is losing control of his family and makes a desperate move.
Avsnitt 7
Tommy sends Lotta to the Drevnäs rehabilitation centre to get her sober. Lotta is very reluctant, but the treatment has consequences that Tommy didn't foresee. Victoria's, Agnes' and Lotta's statements lead to a new trial against Tommy.

Victoria starts blogging about her childhood at Heddesta. The blog stirs up a storm that touches the lives of everyone involved. But Victoria hasn't given up hope of reconciling with her father...
