Episodes
Episode 1
In Weston-super-Mare, neighbourhood police are organising a series of raids as part of a huge crackdown on serious crime in the area. Teams are hitting six different properties, hunting for drug dealers who have recently been flooding into the town from across the country. It is not long before thousands of pounds' worth of cocaine and heroin is discovered. In Bridgwater, an early morning intruder gives a young family the shock of their lives as he invites himself in and interrupts their breakfast. When Tex from the neighbourhood team arrives, he finds the young man had even run himself a bath but, extraordinarily, has no recollection of what he has done.
Episode 2
A young man is stabbed in broad daylight in Weston-super-Mare. Police race to find the two suspects, but despite the help of the force helicopter, they have bafflingly disappeared. In Bath city centre, a brutal assault on a woman pushing a pram is caught on a bystander's camera phone. As well as capturing the shocking footage, the have-a-go-hero goes a step further and, before the neighbourhood team can reach the scene, takes on the attacker. Nestled beside a busy main road, Tex and Dan from the neighbourhood team make a startling discovery - a huge crop of thriving marijuana plants with a street value of nearly £80,000.
Episode 3
After a couple of overnight house burglaries, the police are hot on the trail of a suspect. CCTV cameras in Weston-super-Mare are tracking the lad while the cops rush to intercept him. But suddenly he disappears, only to reappear moments later high up on a shop roof. It is a tense situation as officers try to talk the young man down. When complaints come in from neighbours about noisy parties and cars coming and going all night long, the neighbourhood police are keen to show that they take them seriously, so they raid an address in Bridgwater, where illegal drugs are believed to be at the heart of the problem. Something is amiss in Somerset's famous Cheddar Gorge. What is normally a beautiful tourist attraction has been turned into a race track by inconsiderate racers. Jen Atkinson from the neighbourhood team is on hand to try to keep the peace there.
Episode 4
Cracking down on heroin users and dealers is a priority for the neighbourhood police. In this episode, an operation to reel in a suspected heroin dealer uncovers a house of squalor. In a computer gaming store, surrounded by expensive consoles and the latest games, temptation seems to have proved too much for one young shopworker. He is suspected of stealing thousands of pounds' worth of items before being rumbled by his employer. Now it is down to the police to investigate. In Bath, a neighbour from hell has the tenants in her block of flats living in fear. It is a tough case for neighbour dispute specialist Adge Secker.
Episode 5
In Bath, Rob McIvor gets called in to investigate an extraordinary case. Art galleries have been inundated with Nazi themed hate mail posted through their letterboxes. Rob quickly determines they're the work of a disgruntled local artist, who's got some kind of axe to grind with the art establishment. When neighbourhood officer Dom Bryant arrests a supermarket shoplifter he can't help himself feeling sorry for the down and out offender. Against all the police rules, he helps the man out with a 'meal deal', paid for out of his own pocket. And, in Bridgwater, the police make a surprise early morning raid on a house in a quiet residential street. With the help of sniffer dog, Buddy, they uncover what they're looking for, drugs and a dealer, who is only 17.
Episode 6
Neighbourhood officer Dom Bryant gets an anonymous tip off that some cannabis is being grown at a house in the small village of Burnham-on-Sea. Dom goes to investigate but soon finds out that all is not what it seems. Police switchboard operators are used to taking the odd 999 call but in Somerset they've been inundated with hundreds of nuisance calls, all from one man. After numerous warnings, the police have finally had enough and neighbourhood officers are going to arrest him. And, in Bath, a call comes in for neighbourhood officer, Roger Parker over the city's special communications network that connects the high street shops' security departments with the police. CCTV cameras in a large department store have picked up an Italian student in the act of stealing some clothes.

After a recent spate of stabbings in Weston-super-Mare, the neighbourhood police are determined to come down hard on the offenders.
