Per Ivar and Eva are initiating their new vacation paradise home, but gets dragged into a bitter neighbor quarrel. Terje wants to start the summer by surprising his girlfriend, but Eirins daughter suddenly comes to visit, and they have to hide their relationship.

Eirins wish to get to know the family takes an awkward turn when she and Per Ivar remembers that they've met each other a long time ago. Siggen forces Egil to pick up a German hitch-hiker, but quickly regrets it when Egil and the hitch-hiker discover common interests.

Terjes family thinks he has high blood pressure, which has its perks. Egil thinks Siggen is an awful bathing partner, and secretly starts bathing with Per Ivar.

Per Ivars minigolf-fun gets destroyed when he gets in trouble with two carpenters. Siggen and Egil gets a surprise visit from Egil's parents, that wants him to move back to Stavanger.

Per Ivar goes on a trip into the woods with the new neighbor Gunnar Tor. Terje tries to impress his father-in-law, but things goes bad when Oddvar gets involved.

Per Ivar sees a white horse in the forest. The family thinks this is because of a head injury. Siggen gets to know the new neighbor Gitte, and Egil then has to hang with Gitte's crazy husband Chris.

Eva forces Per Ivar out in the woods for some sensual fun. However, as Per Ivar has trouble keeping it up in nature, he tries to get away from it. Terje's dream of a crab party gets destroyed, as the family has eaten all the crabs. Siggen and Egil watches Ellinor, and tries their hand at being parents.
