Georgia Mann introduces the first of two programmes showcasing some of the most talented young musicians in the world, nurtured and promoted by BBC Radio 3's New Generation Artists.
Performing in the intimate setting of the Coal Exchange building in Cardiff Bay, Georgian pianist Mariam Batsashvili plays Rossini's Petit caprice in the style of Offenbach and Bénédiction de Dieu dans la solitude from Liszt's piano cycle Harmonies poétiques et religieuses. Scottish guitarist Sean Shibe performs William Walton's Five Bagatelles and the Sarabande from JS Bach's English Suite in E minor. Macedonian-Canadian mezzo Ema Nikolovska, accompanied by Indian-American pianist Kunal Lahiry, presents a programme featuring Cécile Chaminade's Ronde d'amour and La lune paresseuse, Dvorak's Dobrú noc, má mila, and a selection of Debussy's Ariettes oubliées. And the Aris Quartett from Frankfurt perform Mendelssohn's final complete composition, his String Quartet in F minor.

A stunning showcase of spectacular music and breathtaking virtuosity from world-class musicians who are part of BBC Radio 3's New Generation Artists scheme. In the second of two programmes, they perform music, including works by Britten, Chopin, Strauss and Purcell. Founded in 1999, the NGA scheme nurtures and supports some of the world's most talented instrumentalists, singers and ensembles at the start of their international careers through broadcasts on radio, television and performances at some of the UK's most prestigious festivals and venues.
German pianist Elisabeth Brauss plays Chopin's Scherzo No 2 in B flat minor alongside three keyboard sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti. Scottish guitarist Sean Shibe performs a selection of Scottish lute music and Dowland's Fantasia. British Soprano Ruby Hughes, who is joined by Indian-American pianist Kunal Lahiry, sings music by Strauss, Purcell and Britten, while the Aris Quartet, formed in Frankfurt, perform a selection of Ervin Schulhoff's Five Pieces for String Quartet.

From the team behind Love My Way and The Secret Life of Us comes the Stan Original series Bump. The series centres around Oly, an ambitious and high-achieving teenage girl who has a surprise baby; and the complications that ensue for two families.
The Great Christmas Light Fight
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas with the hit holiday decorating competition series, The Great Christmas Light Fight. Decorating their homes to the extreme for Christmas, families and neighborhoods across America compete to win a cash prize and the coveted Light Fight trophy.
