Epizoda 1
A powerful and influential construction magnate Mario Kardum speeds up the process of buying Novine after journalist Andrej Marinkovic starts investigating the traffic accident with three people killed and someone close to Kardum involved.
Epizoda 2
Kardum's anger at editor in chief for not publishing the news on acquisition is just a front for shifts in the newsroom. Andrej continues to dig around the accident, despite the fight with the police chief who happens to be his best man.
Epizoda 3
After a front page article about the accident, furious Kardum insists on signing the purchase contract immediately. Mitrovic, Martic and Marinkovic come up with the plan that should help them contain independence in front of the new owner.
Epizoda 4
On his last day as the Editor, Vidov prints an expose on Tetra Services, which would embarrass many higher ups. Nikola had disagreed with the article, so informs Alenka, the new Editor, about it. Alenka ceases its publication just in time.
Epizoda 5
Tomasevic is furious that the secret of Tatra Services is out. Kardum says that this is Tomasevic's problem. Tena is furious that her article was not published. Kardum wants her fired. Vidov exits and Alenka takes over as Chief Editor.
Epizoda 6
Tena is fired. Marko is told to be the fall guy for the frauds in Tetra. He refuses, but Tomasevic has him arrested. Kardum asks Alenka to prepare ammunition to go after Tomasevic, when the time comes. Vukovic, the previous owner, dies.
Epizoda 7
Anja discovers about Dijana's affair with her husband, Marko. She is bereft and swallows a lot of pills. Marko, in police custody, is mum about Tetra. Nardelli is threatened by Jolic, CID, who witnessed the fatal car crash by Dubravka.
Epizoda 8
Julic is clobbered by thugs for trying to blackmail Nardelli and Kardum. Hospitalised, he escapes across the border. Marko decides to take help of Tomasevic's lawyer. Anja struggles in hospital. Dubravka's and Nardelli's cars are torched.
Epizoda 9
Alenka is anxious that her article may have caused the torching of the 2 cars. Julic flees the country to recover. Kardum is implicated in the fraud done at Tetra, and arrested for questioning. Nikola's son Petar has problems at school.
Epizoda 10
Dubravka asks the Archbishop to get Tomasevic to stop asking about her car crash. The Archbishop wants Vidov reinstated. Julic wants an assurance of no harm from Tomasevic for torching the 2 cars. Andrej agrees to work for Tomasevic.
Epizoda 11
Alenka is replaced by Vidov. She writes an expose in revenge, but Vidov stops it. Tomasevic prepares for his presidential election. Dubravka has compromising photos of Tomasevic. Marko and Dijana guess the reason behind Anja's suicide bid.
Epizoda 12
Bubalo is arrested and hence Nardelli is beaten up. Tomasevic's compromising photos appear just when he announces his candidature for President. To avenge, Tomasevic wants the entire Kardum family wiped out. Anja is revulsed with Dijana.
