In the first episode of the series, Christine heads to Derbyshire where she discovers an ancient ‘motorway', takes part in a tug of war, works in a traditional sweet shop and takes part in a well-dressing ceremony.
Christine's first job in Derbyshire is to meet up with a local historian who shows her a historic trading route which ran through Derbyshire, going up and down the country, like an early M1. Christine takes in the views of the Derbyshire scenery as she heads along the route, chatting to other walkers on the way.
Next on the list, Christine heads to the tiny village of Sheen, which has a population of just 250. The Sheen Farmers Tug of War Club are the current men's world champions in the sport, and now the women in the village have got involved as well.

Herefordshire

Christine's first stop is to meet local man Doug and his horse, Ella, who are working together to control the bracken in the woods. The bracken in this part of the country is particularly strong, and if it isn't crushed and removed, it can completely take over the woodland. Christine takes Ella's reigns and leads her through the trees as she pulls a roller to destroy the bracken.
Shropshire
In the fifth episode, Christine heads to Shropshire where she explores an unusual museum, helps make natural confetti and takes part in a medieval re-enactment.
Firstly, Christine meets Jim and Jess who plant, grow and harvest amazing flowers for natural confetti. Christine gets stuck in helping to pick the flowers and the pair explains how they dry them and package them before sending them to brides and grooms across the country. Plus, Christine discovers that the romance of making confetti has spread to the workers with Jim and Jess recently getting married and another 25 couples meeting and getting married whilst working there making confetti.

The path has been used through the decades by fisherman and pilgrims. Mike and Christine explore the caves in the cliff side that are home to incredible ancient drawings up to 4000 years old. Malcolm in the Middle
In the words of They Might Be Giants' rollicking Grammy-winning theme song, "life is unfair." The inventive and wholly original sitcom Malcolm in the Middle has been honored with a Peabody Award and Emmys for directing and writing, but if life was fair, it would have earned an Emmy for Best Comedy Series, not to mention statuettes for its pitch-perfect cast. With his perpetual "yes, me worry" expression, Frankie Muniz instantly earns audience empathy as Malcolm, whose chances for a normal life are thwarted not only by his genius IQ, but also by his outrageously dysfunctional family: Lois, his obsessive, control-freak mother; Hal, his loving but ineffectual father; Francis, his eldest brother waging his own private war at military school; middle brother Reese, a delinquent savant; and Dewey, the put-upon youngest. As Malcolm observes at one point, "This family may be rude, loud and gross, and have no shame whatsoever, but with them you know where you stand."
