Season 1
58-year-old Ito Gentaro lives with his wife Chizuru in a house in Tokyo. Each of their three daughters should have left home and lived well. However, their eldest daughter 28-year-old Yuka is single and doing well at work but propensity for affairs. Their 25-year-old second daughter Rika wedded a highly educated man and lives in Osaka but the couple are on the brink of divorce. Their youngest daughter 22-year-old Mika is also single and the moment she gets to start living on her own, she half cohabits with a man who does not seem like he will be a successful manga artist. Gentaro worries endlessly about his daughters who are poor judges of character. Completely ignoring their tastes, this stubborn, old-fashioned father suddenly brings a man whom he likes to the house in the middle of the night and introduces him to his daughters. In fact this man is Yuka's ex-boyfriend. What will the family be like the next day!?

Episode 2
Gentaro (Kotaro Yoshida), who is worried about his daughters, likes his business partner Omori (Kenta Hamano) and brings him home drunk, but Omori is the ex-girlfriend whose eldest daughter, Yuka (Haruna Kiminami), "pretended to be a busaiku".
The next morning, Megumi and her daughters greet the morning as if nothing had happened.

Gentaro (Kotaro Yoshida) is inspired by Shijimi, whom Omori (Kenta Hamano) and Watanabe (Rina Ota) bought while they were at work, and advises their eldest daughter Yuka (Haruna Kiminami), who is struggling with love, to "buy shellfish."
The second daughter, Rika (Yui Sakuma), grows dissatisfied with her husband Daisuke (Ren Kiriyama) while worrying about whether she can use up the ingredients in the fridge efficiently as a housewife.
The third daughter, Mika (Reina Takeda), has a good vibe with Manabu (Makoto Takasugi), with whom she had a fateful encounter, but begins to feel a faint sense of discomfort.
Gentaro confides in his wife, Megumi, about the limited time and finite life symbolized by the "7 cm leek" in the corner of the refrigerator.

The eldest daughter, Yuka (Haruna Kiminami), arrives in a mote period with a sudden confession from the younger, handsome Aoyama (Sou Okuno) and a sudden phone call from her ex for the first time in ten years. Nevertheless, Omori (Kenta Hamano) is a scathing critic of Yuka.
The second daughter, Rika (Yui Sakuma), returns to her parents' home in the Ito family when her husband Daisuke (Ren Kiriyama) is almost confirmed to be cheating on Kuro. The third daughter, Mika (Reina Takeda), is upset by her strict date with Manabu (Makoto Takasugi) and the secrets of Shiina (Maho Nonami), a senior at the company she learns by chance.
