Living in next door houses, Pat's fence gate's key falls into the sewer drain and Mat helps him retrieve it. This is the first time they are introduced as Pat & Mat and you can hear their names on the house doors. The series also changed name from "...A Je To!" to "Pat & Mat".

Pat bought a whole lot of new furniture, and Mat naturally helped him assemble it. The result was a catastrophe. But they found another use for all the broken woodware.
