US1549 / Sully
On January 15, 2009, US Airways Flight 1549 had just taken off from New York City's LaGuardia Airport when it collided with a flock of birds, destroying both engines. With all engine power lost, Captain Chesley ‘Sully' Sullenberger and co-pilot Jeffrey Skyles were forced to glide the plane and perform an emergency ditching in the Hudson River. All 155 people on board survived the ‘Miracle on the Hudson' thanks to the quick thinking by the crew. This episode features the accounts of three passengers who survived what could have been a fatal crash.

The Rig
Magnus and his crew aboard the Kinloch Bravo oil rig are stationed off the Scottish coast in the dangerous waters of the North Sea. When they are due to be collected and return to the mainland a mysterious and all-enveloping fog rolls through. Bob's wife, Linda, stands by her man and often does so by bursting into song. Their eldest daughter, 13-year-old Tina has a slight obsession with boys and zombies. Middle child Gene is an aspiring musician with a thirst for life. Louise is the bunny ears-wearing youngest daughter with an off-kilter sense of humor that makes her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen – and with the public.
